What Unreal/game content would you like to see?

Game development is a challenging journey! I know I am on the same journey. It's important to remember that even if your game is flawless, there will always be some who find reasons to complain. Stay true to your vision and passion, and success will come your way. I would like to see how you developed your game mechanics, combat, maybe movement... etc

Thanks very much. Absolutely, in theory the part of the solution is to market to the right players, but that can be challenging itself. At the end of the day it's about maintaining an objective standard of quality and being confident in your efforts, time, etc. And always being open to updates/fixes too of course.
Regarding mechanics, I'll see what I can come up with. Off the top of my head I think the most interesting is the way I implemented the sword sweeping hit detection. That will naturally be in the souls-like template video, it's an improved version of it. If you noticed in the clip I was capping it at 15 fps where the hit detection could potentially miss frames, so it can be necessary to interpret the gaps. In Abhorrent Light I based it off framerate, in the souls-like template I'm basing it off distance.
      Thanks for the comment :)

I just discovered you through the enhanced inputs vids (ironically), and yeah, tutorials sound like a good idea. If you've developed in UE for several years now, what are the biggest challenges you've faced, and can you break them down in several smaller parts that can constitute content that no other tutorial talks about? Or do you think making basic tutorials about the marketplace thing could help?
Side note, I know you probably don't have the energy for that, but structuring your vids a bit better could help with rhythm and viewer interest.
    Good luck!

Thanks, yeah it's pretty much going to be tutorials, detailed step by step and devlogs, more of an overview. I like sharing the financial stuff too as I feel like that's a large area of uncertainty for devs. I finally got my game out on the 24th, I'll make a video about that too but I'm taking the week off lol 😴
