It doesn't matter. Is LPL out there trying to snatch packages? There are arguably no people looking to grab packages off porches that are also stopping to pick locks to get those packages. Here's an example. We had a rash of mail thefts, they usually occurred right before people started coming home from work. I cut a slit on my mailbox for the letters and put a 10 cent diary lock on box. Boom. My mail was fine, and you could have twisted and broken it with your bare hands.
