Excited to get my 16 M8000 LTD out this year. Tossed a stage 2 kit at it, should be a ripper. Need to get the suspension dialed in, wouldn't happen to know what you have the pressures set to on the green machine in the videos?? Im about 210-215 all geared up
We run all our shocks pretty high to have a stiff but responsive ride. 110 in the front, and around 150 or more in the rear.
Already riding here in Alaska.
Got some snow here too. But nothing is sticking around just yet
Syxxes Performance that’s a bummer. We’ve got about 5-6’ here in a few riding spots. Down at sea level we don’t have any yet but above 1,000ft is snow line.

What are you guys using for cameras? Some of those shots came out amazing.
Last year we had a mavic pro, and anything that wasn't shot on the drone was shot on Samsung Galaxy S8

Syxxes Performance nice. We went there for the first time a couple years ago. It was so foggy we really didn’t get any good footage. Well love the footage, keep up the good work. If you ever head south let me know. Have good maps of west Yellowstone, togwotee, big horns. I also know Snowy Range really well but that is quite a trip from BC.

Do you think the Alpha One would be a good sled for a rider to start on? Or would you recommend something a little more standard like the RMK/Summit? Awesome vids..ty.
Robert Bartholomew I think the Alpha would be a great place to start considering it’s super nimble and easy to side hill. It would make learning that aspect of sledding super easy and is a more than capable platform to ride even as an advanced rider. For us however as a rule of thumb buying a good used sled as a starter makes sense as you’re going to probably beat it up a little so starting on a good used machine and then getting on to a new platform in a few years from a financial stand point is a good choice.
@@ben_syxxes8179 Thanks muchly, Just moved to AB from NB where I did mostly trail riding on an Assault 800. Now near the mountains, most of the peeps here have mountain sleds...so when in Rome so to speak. Love the vids guys...keep them up, super jealous.
Do you ever have any issues with powder bog on the cats when the intake gets stuffed up?
Milk Man yes is happens especially when air intakes get plugged.
@@shaun_syxxes5132 my cat gets real sad with all that pow in the intake, wasnt sure if it was just me. Seems like the kind of thing they could fix with changing the intake.

Somewhat similar. Holds the sidehill better, and crawls over those deep ruts on a sidehill awesome!
The turbo Polaris was problems but the stockish cat... Blew Up?!
Nope, just an LX issue.
Still haven’t seen the mono rail do anything a double hasn’t except break easier. Doesn’t seem to side hill any better than the rmk’s do. I have no personal experience with the alpha or anything but just from vids it seems like it slides out more
I've had a ton of people ask me my thoughts on it. Sounds like I should be doing a video on it after having been on it for a year.

I like what they have done with it. I'd love to see a completely new chassis from cat in the years to come though. I'll admit that this platform is showing its' true potential right now, but it is starting to seem a little dated at this time. Thanks for messaging!
Syxxes Performance thanks for the response! Trying to figure out a new sled, time for a upgrade was thinking the alpha hardcore in a 154 (red color ) but still don’t know yet. Have you heard anything on if they can haul a small freight sled for those day I’m not on the mountain?

Depends what one you're asking about. There are 3 cats in the video all with different exhaust.
Are you guys overheating without the snowflap ? I have a m800 2012 and I don't do much trail, do you recommend me to take it off ?
SledBoyZ QC No issues at all running no snow flap, just run the scratchers up the trail and you’ll be fine! We also dive off the trail as soon as possible

That one just had exhaust on it. Nothing else. A belt drive is probably some of the best money you can spend, even if it's just to have some peace of mind on the mountain of not blowing a chain.
