BPEC Round 2 - Whilton Mill Test Day 2021 (UCK Motorsport - 103)

Team 103 - UCK Motorsport at the British Prokart Endurance Championship test day at Whilton Mill 7th May 2021.

Preparations for a 6-hour endurance race on Sunday. The official Saturday practice was a washout so the Friday sessions were crucial for dry practice and setup. Sadly our data logger wasn't setup correctly to log accurate time's. We were doing ~51s/52s per lap in changing conditions.
It was the teams first race event of the season after covid in this chassis (7kart Mk4, Honda GX200 Twin-engine prokart). Pace was consistent but not there, we just need more seat time to understand the chassis and how it reacts to setup changes. We did have brake issues all weekend which didn't help.
In the end, we finish 12th out of 23 in class (46 karts in total). Gaining 8 places from qualifying. Room for improvement.
