BPEC 2022 - GYG Race Start

Round 8 Race Start.
Qualified P8 in class.
Tried to stay out of trouble. Someone had other ideas after the video ended, and took an overly-aggressive move down the inside around a fast hairpin (turn 3) out of my view, taking us out and putting us well down the order after repairs.

I've been doing the rounds for quite a while in rental karts now.
I've been alongside these karts in the teesside 24.
How would you rate BPEC as a potential first owner kart experience? I'm assuming it's less expensive than 2 stroke as the engines are more reliable.
