Suzuki's look amazing and I honestly have no issues with a kickstart. That's what we all started on anyway. However, when you can go out right now and find any other brand's "last year model" (some completely unchanged from '23-'24) for a sticker price well under the '24 Suzuki, it becomes real difficult to justify going the yellow route. I love the bike and would love to have one, but a brand new leftover '23 Kawi and even a brand new leftover '23 KTM both stickered under $8k.........it's kind of a no brainer.
I hear you on this...but the same (or deeper) discounts can be had on the Suzuki which makes it an insane bargain for a 450. I just picked up a new leftover 2023 RM-Z450 last week for $5498. For a brand new 450, that's just unbeatable for a weekend warrior like me.
@@nathanneudecker6516 Wow! I agree that would be a great price for sure! I have been looking at some of the leftover '23 Suzuki's myself around my area. It just sucks that you can't do the RM Army package for the previous year model. But that might be asking a little too much haha.
@@ralphgodwin5143 Keep searching! I am in the midwest and winter is right around the corner, so I think that played into my deal (not a lot of folks buying dirtbikes around here right now). Yeah, I had a deal going in parallel on a 2024 to take advantage of the free pipe and graphics kit...but best I could do there was $7,500 ($8,200 OTD after fees and taxes). I figured I was better off saving $2,500 and buying the Yosh pipe that I really wanted (plus I wasn't a huge fan of the graphics package).
@@nathanneudecker6516 No kidding?? That's a more like it kinda deal.. I'm a big Suzuki guy always ridden them, but the older I get the harder it is to shy away from a electric start. But for that price I can live with the kick..I'm going tomorrow on Black Friday and see if my local shop has some Yellow sunshine at a good price like that!
I'm very pleased as the 2024 model comes with the pipe upgrade just like the 2023. I do need the 2024 for stipulational purposes. I'm glad I can still get a deal on it. thanks for making it that way stock. this is an awesome motorcycle. does it have a rev limiter?
I also just have a feeling that '23-'24 are "testing the waters" years and Suzuki could bust out a completely updated bike for '25. Nothing to back that up, just a thought.
in Australia i paying 8k for my brand new rmz250 where the rest, yzf, crf, ktm etc were all 13k+ who could possibly justify that! I could ride every weekend for a year for the difference in price! I think anyone whos not running in the top 20 at a national is just wasting money on anything else.
@@ONKINGDAVIDthats the thing, theyre not. Ive had multiple rmz and rmx450z all with big hours and the head doesnt even get out of spec. Ive had crf etc and friends with KTM and yzf etc all have gremlins to fix or major work very early. 99 percent of the game is being comfortable on your bike which is the same problem any of them have. Only major criticism of rmz250 is front springs out the box are too stiff for just about anyone.

I remember a couple years ago I saw on a comment saying a JGR guy said they were going to update the bike in 2025. I didn't really believe it then but now I don't know.
The revisions that manufacturers make give the Press something to write about and that is how they make their living. Generally the Press hate on this bike because it isn't revised as some of the other manufacturers, because quite frankly, bikes don't need to be revised constantly, as they are pretty much at their pinnacle of development. So because Suzuki isn't dumping money into make little changes that most people would never even need, they get hammered by the desperate Press. As for electric start, sure it's nice, but if people are so soft that they absolutely require electric start in order to consider a particular bike, maybe they should just stick to video games.
People complaining about the kickstart is ridiculous.
Fr, I prefer it actually and wish there were options for kickstart and e start on all these new bikes

Cmon Zuki ..we love ya! Give us modern, high tech 250cc / 450cc 4-stroke MX bikes! -Ohio
No thanks, dont need all that crap for an average motocrosser
I don’t get why they don’t just add a electric start lol it’s fairly easy for them to add idk why they just don’t.
Kenny Rockzen made updates for 2025..watch .next yr bike .new top line ..
That bike looks incredible! I love Pat Foster he is the best reviewer going. Cheers for the vid guys 👍👍👍
Always appreciate Pats insight and opinion 👏✌️😉

There's a lot to back that up supposedly

I’m pretty sure I heard they were going to have a 2024.5 factory edition that will have an updated bike and then the 2025 bike will be updated
I wonder if there was any Suzuki 450's sold the last year here in South Africa. Pity, always seemed like an out dated but great bike.
You can't buy them new in SA anymore. Suzuki SA don't bring them in anymore. This will be a great bike for 120 k new.
That guy rips
I have never hated a Suzuki

I feel like the Suzuki cooking on something
They got something up there sleeves for sure
no electric start bummer
Yea fr man. They said something about a special edition or factory edition coming with ES. 2025s prb gonna change and have them on

If your a weed then yes
Put some muscle on them noodle legs, an you’ll be fine
i have been riding 07 yz450f for past 6yrs just bought a 2023 KTM sx450f 9100. yesterday 2 grand down financed the rest 140 per month
I recon its a bargain.
Ahhh kickstarters, from back when men were men.
Goes flat after 8000rpm weak motor
Bike needs kick start for only one reason,in competition, stalls, falls energy and time loss is why none of the top riders want any more
