You can change the front shocks without removing anything. There's just enough room to slide them through the bottom of the lower control arm. Just make sure you lift the vehicle high enough to get the shock out
@@HandymanMark ok. Thanks for info. I shall try it soon. My truck is currently running on springs only from the front side. So Im kinda unsure were to start.
That's too much money, lol. I can get a pair of front Billstein shocks for $80 a pair form my 92 OBS even in today's high ass inflation. Just look around.
I like that font bumper
Sparkler wrench bravo haha
Will be doing this soon my chevy c1500. Replacing both front and rear. Any tips ???
The only tip I can give. Pray all the nuts and bolts with WD-40 do this a few days in advance. Give plenty of time for penetration

Cool like your tires what size are they
Did you have to remove the spring ? Or Control arm on front ??? Or just slides in ?

Bro, you could've bought a set of Billstein shocks for $85 a pair, for most if not all early model OBS trucks. Throw that cheap shock in the trash.
Wanted the shocks to match the truck 😂
Where'd you get the bolts
I got the bolts from Tractor Supply. I'm terribly sorry I don't remember the size
Stock engine?
Stock 305.
For the bottom please and thank you
