- These are the best controller settings for Fortnite Zero Build Chapter 5! I've taken a lot of time to tweak and adjust and this is what I've landed on!

WIth the gyro bugs, I had to go back to standard controller settings. I tweaked your setup slightly to suit how I play, but it is pretty sweet. TY for the video!

I have followed various setting videos in the past. I was on Evolve Jakes settings which seem to work pretty well. I’ve tried using boost and it doesn’t seem to work for me. It always feels a little bit strange.
I am in the process of trying Rotton Twinkies settings and they’ve been fantastic so far. Perhaps the best I’ve tried. If anyone is interested, the basics are:

I’m using the ps5 edge controller and it’s pretty new. I thought these dead zones and low speeds would feel off but for me they feel fab. Just another to try if anybody else is still struggling with optimum movement.

Brilliant! I’m so glad this helped you. I was sceptical at first as I was on higher sensi , ADD and lower dead zones but it’s the best combo I’ve tried so far. I’m pleased to hear it worked in builds also. Awesome.

i use the dualsense edge as well, best controller i have owned. with it only having two back paddles i invested in the pro scroll v3 which is the middle mouse click and scroll wheel attachment. ive been using that since chapter 4 season 4. (i use it for weapon slot binds to hit movement/bunkers instantly). i watched your 3 pillars of getting good at controller and was interested in seeing your actual sensitivity. your sensitivity definitely maxes out aim assist and micro adjustments for AR aim. Have you ever tried using a custom look curve through a button remapping tool? I use DS4 windows for button remapping but also utilize the custom look curve option, definitely way better than default linear or exponential.
Yo bro! Good to see your name pop up. I remember running into you a ton in chapter 4 comp. I agree on DS Edge it’s a phenomenal controller. I’m looking forward to the day they have them available with mouse click triggers tho. Haven’t tried scroll wheel tho. That sounds legit. For input curve I actually adjusted it on the PS5 since it has input curves built into it and I went with -5/-5 dynamic on both sticks
@@MFBuddy_YT I should actually adjust it with the PS5 but the DS4 windows gives you a bit more customization to make it perfect

I just cameback to this game again and was struggling to find a right setting and this helped SO MUCH. I have my aim back and im avg no less then 5 kills and i got 2 solo wins today with the settings. Thank you for helping me get my aim back!

All preference but auto pickup should be on. That split second as you land between you and someone else picking up a gun matters. This feature doesn’t work when your inventory is full anyway so I don’t see the issue with having auto pick up enabled

What keybind paddle do you use for Dualsense edge controller also do you have it overclocked.
No overclocking.
Left button is bound to crouch. Right is bound to jump.

Hey! Just discovered your channel through Toby. Great content. I also have the DualSene Edge and thinking of moving to PC. How do the paddle binds work with PC since it doesn’t have the PS5 interface to bind them?
Great question! After binding on the PS5 it was plug and play for me! I initially got the DS Edge while still playing PS5 and had no issues moving to pc. Backpaddles were still bound to what I had on console when I plugged into pc for the first time.

If you don’t have PS5 I think you can use steam to bind them. There are a handful of differnt options that I’ve heard people use. On steam apparently you just have to turn on PS5 configuration.
@@MFBuddy_YT oh wow that’s amazing. Great news! I have an AimController where the binding is done on the controller itself. Thought the Edge was purely software. So cool that the binds stick though. Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer!

Honestly I swapped from console to pc about 2 months ago. So I hear you. Hopefully you can get one in the near future. It was a big investment for mine but I am so glad I did it.

3:31 So you left "Slide Hold Time" at .0120 seconds? I tried putting it at the lowest setting possible, so you press and instantly your character slides...
4:01 Any reason why both dead zones are at 6? I play with 12 left and 6 right, but I'm not sure if this is right..?
Hey man! Some say deadzones should be as low as possible without getting stick drift. I think 12 is probably pretty high for your left, BUT I think that its a prefrence thing!
Also I have it .012 because I want there to be some time. I dont wanna slide if Im trying to crouch and vice versa

most likely more kbm! controller fits ZB really well, some disadvantages, yes, but there are a TON of incredible controller players in comp zb

helps to see through the storm wall! at a certain point you're just used to it and dont think about it lol. but originally, it gives an advantage when looking through the storm at players still out in the storm
