The Don so nice, he introduces twice. The gem short for this video was so fire, getting to see how FX Fanatic paints work was very nice, and seeing more of this paint would be awesome. I can't wait to see more of the sculpts from your kickstarter as well!
This looks like the perfect mini to learn this techniques. I think even I (consider myself rather "happy accidents" and "hope for the best" style painter) could benefit from painting this bust. Well done!
The Army Painters are good for weathering details on the armour. I would like to see a video on painting blue skin in the near future Don. Thank you for another Army Painter demostration.
This looks insanely cool and I do believe I will steal the painting style of this particular bust and adapt it to something or other to see how well I can make it work!
I am going to be brutally honest I thought the bust was a bit rough when I first saw it just undercoated but at the end... WOW what a paint job and what a fantastic sculpt made for a painter not a GW over detailed mini painter like myself :D
Another great video as always! Quick question, my local store started carrying the fanatic line; are there any standouts that seem pretty unique to the line compared to other paint brands that you'd recommend to give fanatic a try? I'd love to check them out while also getting a color I don't already own a close copy of.
my god. now I really want to paint white armor! unfortunately on a battle sister (so tiny). but having the leading sister in white on the triumph of saint katherine will look insane with the others in some grimdark red... would you go similar route, starting a deep red and then brown colors for the damage, dark tone & military shade?
