    You're looking at it all wrong Barnaby, being a spurs fan of 63 years I can tell you it builds endurance, stoicism and fortitude. In short either you become iron clad or you go support Arsenal. Mind you the good times are sooooo much better.

      Well said gents. We go 3 up but everyone focused on the errors. Boys showed character. Would’ve been easy to throw in the towel considering how tired they became. COYS!!

      Facts. Being a Spurs fun can make me mental sometimes, but it has also made me a wiser person. I know now to allow myself to fully revel in the good times. Soak it all up and appreciate every moment, because you have no idea what’s coming next. Great life skill, that.

    So happy that Dominic Solanke scored a brace, which will give him confidence.
    Archie Gray impresses again, playing anywhere except his natural position.
    Djed Spence continues his fine form with another outstanding display.

    That wasn’t a foul on Sonny’s goal. Bergvall has every right to go for the ball and didn’t jump into their keeper he jumped in front of him with the keeper jumping late and weak, reaching out into Bergvall’s path creating the contact. great goal never a foul.

  • @paulmac81
    @paulmac81 15 дней назад +19

    Bergvall had every right to jump for that ball and was up the highest.arms got tangled so did nothing wrong IMO

      I agree but I would put money on if VR had been in use it would have been disallowed. Actually if you look carefully Bergvall jumped first and the goalkeeper jumped into him, but we all know that goalkeepers are a protected species unless they play for Spurs.

    Man U first shot on goal was in the 62th minute, it was 3-0 at that point. They looked good but totally ineffective. The mistakes that cost you a couple of goals is the same football that gives you a 3-0 buffer. There was no bench and 9 players played the game on the weekend, amazing win

    This is much more fun than the turgid crap Moanio & The Poison Dwarf served up. I NEVER WANT TO SEE THAT RUBBISH AGAIN!!
    We are Spurs. We are, and always have to been entertainers. Embrace it. To quote Sir Bill: “It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. At Spurs we set our sights very high, so that even failure will have in it an echo of glory”.
    Ange GETS IT 👏👏 it’s about time some of our fickle followers got it too.
    Carry on Ange 🤍🤍

    Love the passion barnaby! All in all it was a very entertaining match, and despite the gk mishaps, we bossed it. At the end of.the day i take comfort in the togetherness and grit that got us the win. I really think that the suffering will make ys stronger, and that we fans can take a lesson from it. COYS!

  • @Krzyshtoph
    @Krzyshtoph 15 дней назад +7

    Stop talking nonsense barnaby. No one calls out all the fouls made on vicario.
    Instead tottenham fans capitulate and criticise vicario foe being too weak.
    All those fouls against vicario are much more deliberate and aggregious than whatever our golden boy is accused of doing.
    It's embarrassing to see fans easily accept and put their hands up that the goal shouldn't have been allowed, then turn around and say vicario should do better.

    I’ve supported Spurs since 1959. What you younger supporters expect is a recreation of the Invincibles! Ange was right ‘Were you not entertained?’ Everybody thinks teams like Man Utd should just roll over and not fight back. Get real.

    Just when we thought we could relax, we can't!! It's a typical Spurs game. If you are faint of heart or don't like roller coaster rides, you might want to watch any other team. This one was a most typical Spurs game. Like I always say Spurs are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. The surprises are not always good though.
    Solanke was MOTM. Sonny's goal was world class. Dragusin just keeps getting better.
    They were all playing as a team, which they don't always do. Good surprise.
    Poor Fraser was a surprise indeed! Just hope he gets his confidence back before we play the dreaded Liverpool. Pray a few Hail Mary's before. COYS!!!!

    I have ZERO concerns about Bergvall given the crap Vicario has been put through this season. The commentators made a good observation that the contact was more a result of the GKs flat footedness than Bergvall initiating contact, and that Bergvall was just playing the ball. Contrast that with the 90s NBA post moves we've seen put on Vicario.

    I'm fed up with anyone saying the Son corner goal should not stand , go back and see how many goals against Spurs were given with var in attendance in the league against blatant impeachment off Vicario that should never been given ,go look it up and then we speak about this one against Manchester united. Those to Frasier Foster weakness ( he is a weaknesses in goal) is the Ange way , all Spurs players except Solanke's back passes are their best passes because it's drilled in them , no one from goalkeeper to defenders and most midfielders can do propper forward passes except Madderson some time.

    I don’t think that it was a foul for sonny’s goal, maybe that’s just bias. Spence looked great too and I think Archie did good at cb maybe a few errors but he’s still young and out of position

    Negatives - still can't manage a game when well in the lead. Lack of leadership especially in defense. No flexibility. Some players lack football intelligence. Positives - Solanke, Son, Gray, Spence, with Bergvall showing good physical presence. Entertaining in a nerve-wracking sort of way.

    It almost sounds as if you don't enjoy Spurs wins with lots of goals in them, Barnaby. We obviously can't expect to thrash opponents like Man U, so I'd rather a rivetting 4-3 than a dull 1-0 shutout.

  • @jamesdrury441

    We all agree its Foster weak link the defenders should never have passed to him on the first one, and Foster should just have kicked the ball faster on the second ... defenders should boycott Foster in the playing of the ball...
