You're looking at it all wrong Barnaby, being a spurs fan of 63 years I can tell you it builds endurance, stoicism and fortitude. In short either you become iron clad or you go support Arsenal. Mind you the good times are sooooo much better.
Well said gents. We go 3 up but everyone focused on the errors. Boys showed character. Would’ve been easy to throw in the towel considering how tired they became. COYS!!
Facts. Being a Spurs fun can make me mental sometimes, but it has also made me a wiser person. I know now to allow myself to fully revel in the good times. Soak it all up and appreciate every moment, because you have no idea what’s coming next. Great life skill, that.
So happy that Dominic Solanke scored a brace, which will give him confidence. Archie Gray impresses again, playing anywhere except his natural position. Djed Spence continues his fine form with another outstanding display. COYS
That wasn’t a foul on Sonny’s goal. Bergvall has every right to go for the ball and didn’t jump into their keeper he jumped in front of him with the keeper jumping late and weak, reaching out into Bergvall’s path creating the contact. great goal never a foul.
I agree but I would put money on if VR had been in use it would have been disallowed. Actually if you look carefully Bergvall jumped first and the goalkeeper jumped into him, but we all know that goalkeepers are a protected species unless they play for Spurs.
Man U first shot on goal was in the 62th minute, it was 3-0 at that point. They looked good but totally ineffective. The mistakes that cost you a couple of goals is the same football that gives you a 3-0 buffer. There was no bench and 9 players played the game on the weekend, amazing win
This is much more fun than the turgid crap Moanio & The Poison Dwarf served up. I NEVER WANT TO SEE THAT RUBBISH AGAIN!! We are Spurs. We are, and always have to been entertainers. Embrace it. To quote Sir Bill: “It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. At Spurs we set our sights very high, so that even failure will have in it an echo of glory”. Ange GETS IT 👏👏 it’s about time some of our fickle followers got it too. Carry on Ange 🤍🤍 #lovingit #COYS #sirbill
Love the passion barnaby! All in all it was a very entertaining match, and despite the gk mishaps, we bossed it. At the end of.the day i take comfort in the togetherness and grit that got us the win. I really think that the suffering will make ys stronger, and that we fans can take a lesson from it. COYS!
Stop talking nonsense barnaby. No one calls out all the fouls made on vicario. Instead tottenham fans capitulate and criticise vicario foe being too weak. All those fouls against vicario are much more deliberate and aggregious than whatever our golden boy is accused of doing. It's embarrassing to see fans easily accept and put their hands up that the goal shouldn't have been allowed, then turn around and say vicario should do better.
I’ve supported Spurs since 1959. What you younger supporters expect is a recreation of the Invincibles! Ange was right ‘Were you not entertained?’ Everybody thinks teams like Man Utd should just roll over and not fight back. Get real.
Just when we thought we could relax, we can't!! It's a typical Spurs game. If you are faint of heart or don't like roller coaster rides, you might want to watch any other team. This one was a most typical Spurs game. Like I always say Spurs are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. The surprises are not always good though. Solanke was MOTM. Sonny's goal was world class. Dragusin just keeps getting better. They were all playing as a team, which they don't always do. Good surprise. Poor Fraser was a surprise indeed! Just hope he gets his confidence back before we play the dreaded Liverpool. Pray a few Hail Mary's before. COYS!!!!
I've been an Ange critic but it wasn't him at fault. We were purring until the errors. The first drew the second but the kids will learn fron this and knowing they can get through it is great for their development
I have ZERO concerns about Bergvall given the crap Vicario has been put through this season. The commentators made a good observation that the contact was more a result of the GKs flat footedness than Bergvall initiating contact, and that Bergvall was just playing the ball. Contrast that with the 90s NBA post moves we've seen put on Vicario.
Shape up, Barnaby, we won the game and Fraser has been excellent up to this game - we take a point from Ibrox because of Big Fraser, we are through mate - the treble's on
Barnaby chill out mate,we only scored 4 goals with half a side and no first defence. It’s not Anges fault that Forster gave them two goals.Like the other guy who has commented, you’re looking at it all wrong.Go and support the gooners. You would think we just got hammered at home the way you’re reacting.I bet your next thumbnail is, Is Ange good enough.COYS.
I'm fed up with anyone saying the Son corner goal should not stand , go back and see how many goals against Spurs were given with var in attendance in the league against blatant impeachment off Vicario that should never been given ,go look it up and then we speak about this one against Manchester united. Those to Frasier Foster weakness ( he is a weaknesses in goal) is the Ange way , all Spurs players except Solanke's back passes are their best passes because it's drilled in them , no one from goalkeeper to defenders and most midfielders can do propper forward passes except Madderson some time.
I don’t think that it was a foul for sonny’s goal, maybe that’s just bias. Spence looked great too and I think Archie did good at cb maybe a few errors but he’s still young and out of position
Negatives - still can't manage a game when well in the lead. Lack of leadership especially in defense. No flexibility. Some players lack football intelligence. Positives - Solanke, Son, Gray, Spence, with Bergvall showing good physical presence. Entertaining in a nerve-wracking sort of way.
It almost sounds as if you don't enjoy Spurs wins with lots of goals in them, Barnaby. We obviously can't expect to thrash opponents like Man U, so I'd rather a rivetting 4-3 than a dull 1-0 shutout.
We all agree its Foster weak link the defenders should never have passed to him on the first one, and Foster should just have kicked the ball faster on the second ... defenders should boycott Foster in the playing of the ball...
Foe me Spence is our best fullback on either side... Udogie and Porro need to stop wandering all over the place as we get caught out wide almost every time.... I would get rid of Porro as his defending is very poor.
Porro Probably playing with an injury and needs a few weeks out to get back full fitness, something we can’t afford right now. Players are not machines. Quite agree about Spence though.
have to admit at 3-2 i turned it off... seen it all b4.... but yet again Spurs prove me wrong.. 2legs vs Liverpool!! i just dont think i can cope.. its bad enough 90min but 180!! Doc i need some Vellum

PROPER STOIC COMMENT 😮
Sorry for you mate but the ilness has gone so,so deep inside you.
'70 model myself here and I agree, character building! I will die like a piece of ancient iron! hahahahaha! COYS

Dom will benefit from Spence in the team as he can find a striker with a pass

Bergvall had every right to jump for that ball and was up the highest.arms got tangled so did nothing wrong IMO
I agree but I would put money on if VR had been in use it would have been disallowed. Actually if you look carefully Bergvall jumped first and the goalkeeper jumped into him, but we all know that goalkeepers are a protected species unless they play for Spurs.
I loved the shit eating grin on Ange in the post match. Spurs played WELL minus the hiccups with Fraiser

Sim from TottenhamTV called it “Heart attack FC”. I agree.
Watching Spurs play can give you a heart attack.
But damn… we won! COYS!!
That was exhausting

cancelling my cardiogram next week - clearly im ok after those heart stopping incidents
I've been an Ange critic but it wasn't him at fault. We were purring until the errors. The first drew the second but the kids will learn fron this and knowing they can get through it is great for their development
unfortunately it wasnt the kids that made the mistakes but our experienced keeper
@@thewrights-p6yYeah absolutely, but winning this and coming through the other end will be good for their experience and development

Exactly and Luke was in the air before the keeper launched.
Yeahh lol! If a simple hand to hand contact with the keeper is a foul, what do you call the FA cup goal we conceded last season against City?
We're too predictable when playing it out from the goalkeeper.
How about being half full glass for a change. Few teams not in the semi finals, but spurs are!
Everybody loves watching Death or Glory Spurs!
Shape up, Barnaby, we won the game and Fraser has been excellent up to this game - we take a point from Ibrox because of Big Fraser, we are through mate - the treble's on
Ive been saying it for a month now.. this tough period with bench players playing so much will speed up the project COYS 🔥🔥🔥
The infamous project 😅😅
@jacklegros6614 it takes many projects to have 1 good one.. not starting and sticking to a project equals mediocrity COYS

Spurs fans cannot consider relaxing unless they are at least 4 goals up. 😂😂😂
Is frazer working for paddy powers 😂

Very happy to win heart beating ao fast butterflies in the stomach but brilliant fantastic wow
MAD BARNABY MY HEAD IS SPINNING ...😂😂😂
The club should come with a health warning.

Stop making posts full of emotion you come across as a bad winner.
I enjoyed how Drăgușin played, yet sofacrore gave him a 6.3.. wtf?
I NEVER complain about refereeing, but tonight's game seemed to be *heavily* favoured towards united
I had the same thought
But don't you think that both players that past the ball to him could have cleared the ball them self's.
REF WAS PLAYING FERGIE TIME AT THE END FFS 😢
We won, wtf!!!! a foul??? couldn't give a toss if it meant we won and we did!!!!!!!
Forster WILL be relentlessly targeted now with rushed pressing every match till Vic comes back. Blood has been scented. I hope he can weather it.
His footwork has actually been quite good until this game.
Judging a player on the basis of this is myopic.
Seriously you think Frazer will make those mistakes again, do you think Archie will play the ball backwards like that again?
People forget he has been brilliant since he came in and pulled off a world class save from zirkzee before that
Gol kepper always make mistake stop make silly mistake
Foe me Spence is our best fullback on either side... Udogie and Porro need to stop wandering all over the place as we get caught out wide almost every time.... I would get rid of Porro as his defending is very poor.

We are soft! Talented but we need dogs. God we need a 6. I know Biss played great in some spots but god is he just dumb?
100%
I think we got lucky, 2nd half was a very hard watch 🙈🙈🙈wasn't just Forsters fault. We kept giving the ball away and didn't press for 40 mins ffs
have to admit at 3-2 i turned it off... seen it all b4.... but yet again Spurs prove me wrong.. 2legs vs Liverpool!! i just dont think i can cope.. its bad enough 90min but 180!! Doc i need some Vellum
