      @@TheMissendenFlyer sorry, I didnt mean I didn't like your videos... I love them. Infact you helped me narrow down my next bike. CB500X. I did have the 650vstrom xt but for my short ass it was a little big n bulky. I need to get down to fowlers bristol and have a test ride, what's your tske on the new '2022' CB500X

      There are some great places not far from Matlock to "ride alone" ....one just needs an "Adventure Bike" or an "Off Roader" ....and you can ride anywhere a commuter/tourer/sports bike can go, and a host of other places too.
      Just "keep it legal" is the only caveat.

    Hi...thanks for posting. I live half an hour from Matlock. If you continue on the road where the vid ends and then turn right at the lights.....and then right agai it puts you on a fantastic winding free flowing road which eventually spits you out on the Buxton road.

    Hi, just found this great video. At the time I was the organiser of this TVR car club run you are passing through Matlock Bath. The run is called " Thrills in the Hills " ( many videos available on here ) we used to get between 70 and 130 TVR,s blasting through the Peaks. Always great to go through Matlock Bath just for the reaction to the cars.

    Wow. Super busy! So many TVRs...The Tuscan has the oddest interior I've ever sat in. Was going to rent one for a weekend, but ended up preferring the Griffith V8 :) My mother's always prattling on about Matlock - now I see why! Looks nice.

      @TheMissendenFlyer  8 лет назад +1

      +Rob S Yes the ol' TVRs are brill - I've owned a couple in my time....did you ever see the inside of the Cerbera? Similarly space age......such a shame the company was mismanaged......I still fancy a Tuscan someday....

      +TheMissendenFlyer I was once obsessed with Tuscans. Not quite so much anymore, but still appreciate them. No never seen the inside of a Cerebra - great exhaust note on those! Yeah I was quite surprised by the TVR interiors - very 'Jetsons'. Would love to own a TVR one day, and yes, great shame about the company.

    Tmf, sorry I'm a bit late catching up but only just seen this video for some strange reason and may I say you have done Matlock Bath Justice with your video, a cracking view of this wonderful place, I live 15 miles from Matlock Bath so it's a regular fish and chip run for me but may I say great to have Tmf riding through, the cliff edge you mentioned as you enter into Matlock Bath on your left hand side are a regular for rock climbers in summer, something to look out for.
    Nice one Tmf,till next time 👊👊

      Hi you only have to google the words,
      but its a word play the Germans give for the BMW motorcycles.
      Translated Bring me to the Garage. ( a playdoer on it,s unreliability)-
      I had one of the first gs bikes ( New Ones) the clutch broke at 2,000 km.

      @TheMissendenFlyer  7 лет назад

      Aha, I did try google translate and it came out with "Bring me workshop" which didn't make sense to me - understood now. Luckily I've never had any reliability issues with my BMW (said crossing fingers) so I haven't had to utter those words! Thanks for watching....TMF
