I have a split opinion on the Official Preppy Handbook. If taken seriously, it's tragic. If taken as a spoof, it's hilarious. But the closing lines in the video, that preppie clothing is above all practical, is the basis for all the rest. And then what works for various conditions starts with loafers, boat shoe, chinos, polos, etc. and adapts from there.

@@Remembering-rq6si Honestly you're the one I feel bad for and not Angus. The old proverb why gain the world but lose your soul is absolutely true. You may have the appearance of having it all together and being successful but on the inside you're just empty and miserable. All those material possessions that you have aren't what define who you are, its the content of your character, how you treat others, and how you choose to live your life are what matter. Also, what happens to all of that money when you die? What if you all of a sudden lose it all due to unforeseen circumstances? Furthermore if you truly were a true prep then you of all people would know that there is a difference between being wealthy and being rich but I doubt it.
