Your use of color to story tell and contrast the 'happy/normal scenes' vs the violent ones is so amazing and intentional and just awesome design and direction.
This version is so much more adorable than the original, it kinda tones down the viscerality of the gore. It definitely has thosw visceral moments, but now there's far more dissonance between the anatomy and appearances of the characters in comparison to what's going on.
I mean, come on, I can't take Pinkamena tearing out Dash's lungs seriously wheb she's got the most adorable smile on!

In a weird way, this resolved my childhood trauma by letting me see what the adults and teens of that era saw when they saw that video. Very well done! Still traumatized, but now I understand why the original was made. Thank you very much!

I love the change of colors through out this animation, it really shows that in the gore scene the colors are intense and bright while in the baking scenes they're soft to show the happiness of those parts. I love this so much, i'd say it's like the original but you added your own flare to make it different at the same time.

Seeing this reanimated is probably the best thing to see this October. The og traumatized me, but I’m a weird way it’s nostalgic. I love what you did with it! Your art style adds a unique factor to it, and I absolutely adore it! The bit at 0:33 is ✨mwah✨ chief’s kiss.

It's kind of odd that Mister Davey was active around the 2010s and then left, I want to know his opinions on My Little Pony, and what motivated him to make the original "Cupcakes HD" video, and all that stuff. If only he's comfortable for an interview like the MLP Come Jar guy.
