its amazing to see Cardiff Queen St again as i did that station when i did a Cardiff & Valleys day ranger ticket when i was holidaying in Wales back in may its a great station and it was a shame the Cardiff Bay shuttle wasnt running at the time and i also got to get Flirty with the 231s they are awesome and are very Flirty i def would get Flirty with the again anyway brilliant vlog
Those 231s certainly look futuristic compared to the Sprinters (sorry Tico) and 142s/143s which used to run on this line Probably one of the oddest sights I have seen at Gilfach Fargoed was back in the early 2000s, a class 37 and ex Virgin mk2s calling there, and passengers having to use the guard's door to get on and off I think you can see Caerphilly Castle from Aber station, which is less than 10 minute walk away if I remember correctly
Always nice to see my neck of the woods in full effect. The only part of the city line I’ve been on is Cardiff Central to Radyr Station, plus the only valley line I’ve been on is to Merthyr Tydfil. Seeing town that empty at that early in the morning, spooky lol.
Ah yes. Superior 153 Super Sprinters 1st thing in the morning! Music to my ears!!! Lots of Superior Sprinters in general, 150/2 & 153s! Like the 755 Flirts with Greater Anglia, The 231s are a worthy replacement for the 150 & 153s. But until then the Sprinters are still vastly Superior
