- Dallas Cowboys have potentially saved their entire season with an absolutely massive draft. They added Tyler Guyton, Marshawn Kneeland, Cooper Beebe, and Marist Liufau during day 1 and 2.

B- draft grade, what say you?
Cant be denied they got more physical with this draft. I REALLY LOVE the Marist pick. Boy plays like a bigger Polomalu. And not just because of the hair.

I'm watching his highlights on RUclips… Didn't see any turnovers and he Doesnt tackle like TroyP at all. In fact, he tackles up high.

@@RRR-ox9udhe does all the non glory dirty work that doesn’t show up in the box score but that this team needs. He doesn’t play hero ball which is a big reason this team couldn’t stop the run last season. By that I mean he fills the gaps knowing he won’t get the tackle but absorbs blocks and crashes through often re routing the runner leading to somebody else getting the tackle. We didn’t have anybody who wanted to play that way last season. Also he does make big plays especially when ND needed them. He gets a lot of stops when the defense has their backs against the wall. He’s exactly what they needed at linebacker. A selfless player with a big motor.
I understand this offseason has been garbage but allow yourselves to look through the haze of disappointment.
And no Troy was not bigger.

Hey! I like Cooper Beebe, if for no other reason we could have Cooper snapping the ball to Cooper. And who doesn't want an all Tyler Left side of the line.
And what I like the most about Kneeland is the way he doesn't even try to avoid the blockers. He just gathers up the TE and the tackle into one ball and then uses them to plug holes on his way to the ball. I am excited to watch these guys this season.
Man I love this draft you can always win in the trenches if you got them bigs.

We gots some dogs in Liufau, Guyton, Beebe, Kneeland and Carson. All Violent type nasty players. That is what this team needed. Oh, and we also got a dude as a UDF in Brevyn Spann-Ford and he is a TE monster. Peat at RB might be a reach but lets see what he can do with Zeke.

Beebe is my favorite pick. I had him as my 1st rd wish. But we got him in the 3rd and with the pick we traded back with Detroit for. I'd say Will McClay won the trade back game, and Beebe is a hoss, and a steal.
His film has him throwing dudes out of the club on many occasions, and I'm here for it.

I hate to say it, but commanders might be tough this season. Jayden Daniels books it. Plus they got many good players. I just hope these dudes on defense can now stop the running quarterback and running game in general with new talent and new defensive coordinator.

As a Cowboys fan I am happy with the draft picks Cowboys got, to me fixing O-Line was the biggest need this offseason, I believe O-Line was the biggest reason for the bad run game the Cowboys had against good teams

All drafts look good until you see them play… the Chiefs drafted Mahomes the year Jerry drafted a Taco and passed on TJ Watt.

Yep. Jerry got all Dallas fans convinced all they had to do was fix the Oline. Lol Dak had the great wall oline before. What he do with it? They all got old and signed elsewhere. Same with this one. If it is that good. You didnt get RB. RB are as vital as they always have been. I dont get where ppl wanna say RB are dime a dozen. Not really good or great ones. Lol. I believe Ray Davis will be the sleeper RB of this draft. Dallas was aggressive they could've got him. They could've had Benson or Audric.

This has Zimmer written all over it and I do like the offensive lineman we picked up. Zimmer knows what he's doing people. I'm like a lot of people with more splash names but I do still like all the picks.

If you noticed, we paid little to no attention to the run game. You know why? Like I said in one of your other threads unless the Oline was fixed it won't matter who you have running the ball. Well, we focused on Oline and Dline. And if you look at the UDFA's we've brought in so far, we still haven't brought in any RB's. I believe because once we fix that Oline any of our RB's can and will shine behind them. It appears we will be more pass reliant. We've brought in more TE's and WR's. And we've also brought in more DT's and LB'ers and Safeties! I think we had a very solid not sexy draft. We went in with certain needs and filled them all.
No they wont. If you pay attention to the running backs we've had, none of them are really good. We found that out with Pollard. His vision was terrible and couldnt carry the load. To small. Deuce they only got him bc his dad work for them. Lets be honest. They wouldnt be trying to bring back Zeke if that was the case.
@@pmontyjaaaymes488 Pollard never was a #1. And, he was coming off a broken leg injury from the previous year. I keep hearing about Zeke, but he still isn't here. And if we're so bad do you think Zeke is the answer at this stage in his career? Hell, Snoop Conner can get that much needed 3 & 1 or 4th n 1 if it's power you're looking for. Deuce was never used properly or enough facts! His father didn't make him a standout in college. There really isn't anything wrong with our RB's. Plenty of youth and upside. If you don't use what you have properly, they will fail. But if you don't have a good Oline it doesn't matter who you have running the rock! IMO we are getting away from running the ball as much. We have more than a few killer TE's and WR's now.

1. cap hit is not the same as salary. Dak isn't literally making $55 million this year
2. cap hits are an accounting measure.
3. Dak's cap hit has nothing to do with Dak and everything to do with how Stephen has adjusted his cap hits over the years.
4. Dak's cap hit could very easily be lowered in 2 ways: Extend him or restructure the deal using the void years he already has on the contract. Stephen has done neither.
5. Prior to this season, Dak's highest cap hit was $26 million and Stephen still didn't do anything with it. It does not matter how much Dak's cap hit is b/c Stephen Jones is a risk averse pansy. When Dak's cap hit was $750k, he did nothing. When Dak's cap hit was $19 million, he did nothing.
Stop blaming Dak for Stephen Jones being bad at his job. It's impossible to build a championship caliber team when you rely almost entirely on the draft to build your team. The man literally traded Amari Cooper for nothing so he could save $6 million by signing Michael Gallup for $14 million. The man literally holds onto players until their contracts expire and we can't get anything in return.

@@bdgrey who is blaming dak for anything? I'm complaining that we don't have a RB I'm not complaining about Dak or his money. All I said is he is commanding a big cap hit which keeps the cowboys from being able to allocate money elsewhere so they must be expecting him to be the QB and the RB since they aren't signing one. Management is always looking for him to do more than he has already done so I wouldn't be surprised if they expect him to run the ball more.

How do you plan on them scoring touchdowns, if they don't have anyone to block for them? When you have a good offensive line, they can make average running backs above average running backs.
