If I didn't need it anymore I'd do like I've done will all matters of stuff and give it to the kids. They can wear it out and worry with it and not me and I can ALWAYS use the room. Thanks and Be Blessed!
I'd mount the engine on a frame, & fit a 200 amp alternator to it, with cabling & switch to charge car batteries. I did this with an old mower once, except the alternator was an 80 amp unit. It worked very well.
Finding those grommets are a pain. My mom's blower needs one. The grommet and fuel lines come as a single part, and it is on back order. I tried an aftermarket one that said it would fit, but it was the wrong size. I would really love to find the right one for it.
I have a 33cc viper cultivator it's tank was busted too, got it to start and run wide open if you hold the gas trigger as you feather the choke off and on
Quick question if I may. I have a Honda gvc160 powered mower. When throttle lever is placed forward to the operating position the RPM is just a tad too slow. I know I can push the lever ever so slightly forward to achieve those extra RPM BUT my wife mows ( I’ve back problems) and she doesn’t quite get why I do it. ( the mower doesn’t perform as it should ie mulching is no optimal) I’ve looked at the set linkage. Have you made a video on adjusting it? If not that’s fine I’ll try to find something online. It’s just I comprehend things better visually. Thank you
not a dedicated video, if you have a throttle lever, that means it must be a manual choke, where you put the throttle all the way forward, to choke, and then back slightly to go to full speed? if so then yes your cable might have come loose over time, causing the linkage to not work correct anymore.
well for me i would simply use it the way it use for cultivating light stuff or simply improving the soil in lawns for a good example to get it ready for the growing season for them come Spring Season etc.
I have 2 of these that I look after. Ran them before putting into storage for the winter and noticed the one was leaking something black on the cover for the carb/air filter. Dripping down onto where the handle attaches, under the on/off switch. It was thick and can’t see where it’s coming from. Any ideas? I’m thinking someone mixed the fuel too rich for starters and it’s leaking through a carb gasket or the air filter somehow??
in the beginning one was supposed to be diagnostic only while the other was repair, only, and the viewers hated that. The comment would always be, "where's the fix!" and "what Kind of channel is this"
Hey bro, what's up? I like this cultivator it looks like a nice piece of equipment for a kitchen garden project bro. If I had the engine of that cultivator I would put it on my cargo bicycle. It would make getting to and from my garden a lot easier.
I’d like to see you put that vertical shaft motor on a mini bike. The engendering it would take wouldn’t make sense you need a horizontal shaft motor for a mini bike
@@INSIDEHOUSEGARAGE if you do it that way I’d recommend using something like a 2 stage snowblower differential or something a little beefier, I’m not saying it’s not possible but the differential that comes on those little rototillers I doubt would last very long if at all, the torque would snap it pretty quickly
My eyes popped out when I saw the compression, that's a TON. I would put it online, those little diggers sell easy and you could use the money for the next fun project! You made my heart hurt when you turned it up to see the leak in the grass, then filling it in the grass... that's my biggest pet peeve. 🤣
Had a customer come in with an incorrectly adjusted throttle cable out of the box and he could only get ~20% throttle and burned up his engine on this exact model.
Glad you were able to fix the fuel leak from what you had on hand at that time .
thank you Turningwrenches85.

ah nice idea!
Great video. Thank you.
You are welcome!

the same problems here. Have you tried measuring the opening? that's what I did before I was able to find the ones I needed
@@INSIDEHOUSEGARAGE I haven't tried that. Where can you order generic ones that are connected to a particular machine?
Great video!
Thanks!

nice work
@@INSIDEHOUSEGARAGE do I need to adjust the carb to keep it running or clean it out better?
no replace the carb, because the metering diaphragm is not working
You done fixed it? Well, I'll be damned. Scooter told me it couldn't be fixed.
I would think of putting it on a go cart for my granddaughter.
nice!
Hi what was the spray you used before spraying it with water to clean of all the dirt?
I use Super Heavy Duty Degreaser from Harbor Freight

@@INSIDEHOUSEGARAGE great place to start looking. That is they system I have. Manual choke. Thanks for that. Cheers

you are correct this is only good for light duty.
@@INSIDEHOUSEGARAGE yep lawn repair work this would be good for in my view of books etc.
Those are sold at tractor supply. Harbor freight sells predator equipment.
ah thanks !
What kind of compression should that have wondering because mine will not start thanks
good compression is 130+, less than 130 shows some wear, and anything below 90 is getting really bad wear.
@@INSIDEHOUSEGARAGE thank you so much for getting back to me it really helped me a lot Keep up the awesome videos
no problem

it's an intake leak
@@INSIDEHOUSEGARAGE Thanks! I’ll check that first. Might be a spring project now though. It’s almost sled season here!!

yes I've used it a handful of times, but I have been more on my other channel.

I think I'd put it on some type of hauling utility cart. Maybe like to move cut wood or to move larger things around the property.
nice idea!
I will put it on a mini bike. 👍🙏👍🙏

oh, I was planning on incorporating the gearbox too. Most likely it would be chain driven

you are absolutely right about that.

really, that's a real shame

Perhaps a mini bike.
my thoughts too.
Gust but a 87 cc engine from prediter or honda
50 cc
honda would be preferable but nothing wrong with the predator
Honestly what belongs on a mini bike is a 8hp or a 10 hp engine. Or if you want to go crazy like me just slap a 20hp in a mini bike.
nice choice!!
