Friend of mine hooked a MONSTER Musky not far north of where you are in this video. He was using my Fenwick HMG 4'9" ultralight and a Tiny Torpedo, on 4lb Nanofil. Considering the light tackle, we knew it was highly unlikely he was going to land it. As it got close to shore, after about 30 minutes of just waiting and letting him take line, he/she saw us I think and darted down river. My friend followed and was ready to swim if he had to, but it jumped completely out of the water and broke the line. We were just happy to get a good look at it and it was a good 4' Tiger Musky!!!! That was my first experience with a Musky of that size and one of the first ever in general. I'm obsessed with trying to catch it again!!!!!!
Nice fish. Nice video Ron. Thought I’d check in with you today. Eva would have never thrown that one back. When she goes fishing, she plans to eat fish that day.
Well unfortunately that Musky was not a harvestable size in Pennsylvania they got to be probably around A foot bigger though it was a nice catch! Thanks for stopping by!😊

@@OutandaboutoutdoorswithRon riegelsville area? I usually hit marsh creek for muskie but looking for a local spot as marsh creek is about a hours drive.
What , you fish with Sea Money at marsh creek? the river is full of musky just need to hit the river in the right spots when the water is just right. i have fished it from the New York line down to Trenton. There are good spots one week and not so good the next. all depends on the flow.
@@OutandaboutoutdoorswithRon nope. Fish with my son and sometimes a buddy. Usually by myself. Funny i just watched a sea money video. I watch everyone's videos and try to learn how to target or try new areas. I mostly fish for carp bc i consider myself a boss at em. Thanks for the information. Just trying to get me n my kid on a muskie locally. I'll swing up n down 611 n give it a go.
