Heyo! you probably wont see this but I actually got inspired to learn how to restore guitars thanks to watching your videos! I brought home this used blue stratocaster from our school that they let me bring home and it was so worth it being able to derust it and polish the frets! One of the best things ive done and it looks so good now! You're my biggest inspiration to do that so I hope you continue to make content like this I could watch it for hours thanks!
At first I thought that the fingerboard was missing some wood until you did the fret job on it and then it dawned on me they were fret markers. I love your videos, so calming and enjoyable to watch.
I have love your videos and your talent in both refurbishment and playing. This is definitely one of my favorites. Thank you for saving these instruments and showing their capabilities and for the hours of entertainment!
Great restoration! I love you keep everything original. Also, I didn’t see you add the ground wire to the tail piece. Without that you will have a buzz. :)
so relaxing to watch, I wish you would include the setup process as well, trust rod, intonation, radious, nut slot height and action, this would definitely satisfy me. thanks for sharing your skill with us,
I would like to think that, somewhere, there are craftsman smiling, and honored, at your work on their instruments. Thank You for letting us look over your shoulder. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
'Excellent job! I was so glad to see you keep it as original as possible. One hint on getting the intonation just right: Pluck each string, one at a time, while touching the string at the 12th fret. If you hear a beat frequency, (a warbling tone much lower than the string's primary tone,), move the bridge slightly until you don't hear any beat frequency. Do it across all strings until no string has a beat frequency and it will be perfect.
Excellent work, that came out beautiful!! I enjoy fixing and restoring instruments too, and have a real fondness for the older Japanese instruments like this.
I've heard about this vintage electric guitar called Teisco before and am always curious how it sounded. Excellent job restoring that Teisco electric guitar!! 🎸
Hi Friend, very interesting old guitar, beautiful, original and great sound ! You made once more an outstanding restoration showing how talented you are. Thank you for this nice video and see you soon...

Such inspirational work!! The control plates were superb!! Would you consider "yellowing" them with tea or something to make them appear more age appropriate? Outstanding work my good man!!
I totally thought those inlays were places where the fretboard had been chipped away!!! Nice work as always. I still wanna know where you get all these old rusted out guitars!?!?
Guiter tones like that cannot be found on today's guitars. The only way to get those retro tones is to do what you have done. Find an old relic from the 60's and restore it. Great job and super cool sounds! 👍👍👍🎸
Hello!, If u can, can you tell me where you get these junk guitar? I'm looking for these style of guitar but I can't find it on internet nor recycle shop, I would like to know! こんにちは!もしも良ければですが、このようなジャンクギターはどこで見つけたり買ったりしていますか?ハードオフなどインターネットで探しているのですが全く見つからないので、できたらでいいので教えてください!
Yes, it worried me when he started lightly chiseling against the fretboard grain. Still, turned out very clean! Have to be careful not to dig a trench on either side of the fret!
Such wonderful work, as per usual :) Couple of questions, if you don't mind... 1 What was that gunk on the guitar? Tobacco residue? That poor thing must have stunk!! 2 Odd that the neck has two wires, and the bridge has three. I have never seen that. Is that usual? 3 When you were wiring the rocker switches to the pickups and the pots, which 2-wire wire went to the pots, the first set you soldered, or the second? Thanks, and GREAT job!!!

Teisco engineers: shall we just use a Gibson style Switch? No, here’s a couple of light switches, they’ll work 😂
i think the pickups are afterrarket

Good job it looks fantastic. Interesting that model used a nut and not a zero fret like most. I have a Teisco EP11T and I love it.

Great sound? are you kidding me? that guitar was not worthy of his time and effort, it is a piece of k r a p and it sounds it.
You do fantastic work. That guitar is 100% better now and ready to make 50 more years of music 👍🏼

That turned out super good. Terrific outcome. Just one comment, have you considered re- chroming some of the metal parts? Love what you do.
Probably not worth the cost to have it done, TBH

Surprisingly good for Punk guitar at the end.
Nice! Love the old Teiscos but tough to find over here..
I would have strung this guitar with flat wound strings. Very good restoration.

I have one of these, but missing the nice trapeze string holder and the label... Wow
I am amazed that paint cleaned up so nice!! Great Job Bro!! 👍
Very nice work! Teisco didn't plate their metal parts very well. The guitar looks 100% better. Thanks
Guyatone! Beautiful and so cool!
Would have loved to see a neck reset on this one.
Mighty fine job!! A man could jam some fat blues on that bad boy! Great restoration video! 🙌🏽
Yes he does good work but to refer to that guitar as a bad boy is a stretch, it sounds horrible.
What an amazing job in this old guitar!!! fantastic!! Congrats!!!!

Красивая гитара. Хотелось бы услышать на ней блюз или джаз. Спасибо.

Did I hear well that these were Karate and June of 44 riffs, that u played at the end? Anyways great work as always.
Cool guitar. Those gold foil pickups are probably worth as much as the whole guitar.

When gluing in the frets you can use Vaseline on the fretboard to stop the glue on the open wood.

Very nice restoration job! 1:st class!

now this is the work of an artist.
Most cathartic video I've watched all week,You have talent.
Gran trabajo 😀
The pickups are not potted. Makes it sound different than your average newer style pickup.
That thing looks cool as fck. Nice clanky sound too. Great job.
Nice!
Restoration was well done however, something doesen's sound good, pickups? Amp? Possibly the person playing it?
これはこれは!

I have this model Teisco with a severely bowed neck. It’s got no truss rod or truss rod access, any ideas?
This guitar is rockabilly all the way.Would have liked major chords or even cowboy chords for your demo but youre the artist after all.
Are there garage sales in Japan I don't know about?
Did you apply laquer and then polish and buff it?
Hmmmmm. A Full Acoustic Guitar with pickups. How exactly does that work?
super rebuild 15 out of 10
This guitar would sound great for jazz.
No it would not, the guitar sounds like shite, through no fault of his own.
