"I don't know how people can watch them and be like 😒" Yep. This. It’s one thing for their songs not to be someone's cup of tea, but I think it is a huge disservice to think that BINI is not talented because clearly, they are. It’s so hard not to even be a little intrigued by them. Especially in the Philippines, what they've done this year is unprecedented. I know ppop has been a thing in the Philippines for a long time but it wasn't even close to being mainstream until BINI kicked the doors wide open with Pantropiko and Salamin, Salamin. I've made friends who are BLOOMS but were never interested in kpop and there are also a lot of people like me who have been into kpop for a long time but is only listening to BINI now. They went from an unknown group to a household name in just a few months. It’s insane. They 100% deserve it.

They were able to create a loyal following despite ppop not being anywhere close to being a known concept in the PH, but you can not deny how different BINI's impact was.

I call Strings their "Binimian Rhapsody". That cat in the end was the stray cat that the group adopted and cared for. This reflects that physical, mental and emotional stresses the girls were subjected to as they underwent highly intensive training , especially during the pandemic when they were locked down together in one house for a couple of years. Although this shows their vulnerabilities, the roll call at the end shows that these girls are fighters and survivors (aside from introducing newbies to the group). A great takeaway from this is that we should acknowledge our difficulties and pause a while before we can address them.
Gwen is one of the powerful performer of BINI, because she is the BINI'S MAIN SLAYER. like if you compare her to blackpink she is the Lisa of the group, I mean look at her facial expressions, her eyes, and stage presence, she kinda vibin' Lisa though. I always look forward to your reactions especially to "Strings". I love seeing how you guys are just being speechless seeing them in this genre and praising for their amazing vocals. But the song's message and the MV actually have a deeper meaning, hope you are able to noticed it as well. (Note: this might be a long read ahead 😅) Most of BINI's MVs are somehow connected to each other, giving you a hint on the ending of the MV if you pay attention which is kind of a beginning and context of their next MV. One of the best examples are their MVs of "I Feel Good" and "Strings". "I Feel Good" conveys a message of self-confidence, positivity, embracing one's unique qualities, and feeling good about ourselves, regardless of what others might think. But at the end of their MV, you are able to see the girls are at the clouds, feeling so good, happy and at their highest emotions . But if you watch it clearly at the bottom of those clouds, it is filled with darkness and it seems like there are people hanging on strings in there. The pure shock lmaoooo. Strings was a grower for me. I was just okay with it during my first watch/listen but I've since learned to really appreciate it (especially after the wish bus performance--such a great song live!!!) +the choreo is really good and paints such vivid pictures.
