As someone who plays both killer and survivor, it’s a love hate relationship here
Well something is wrong shadow step should been replaced with deliverance if you unhook someone safely you can unhook yourself
I mean that’s what some killers get because some killers are just straight up ass holes
Our builds are similar. Instead of “dead hard” I use “botany knowledge” for over kill lol
Circle of Healing + We'll Make It + Botany Knowledge = healing at bullet train speed.
Autodidact = Insta Heal basically
Same but instead of Dead Hard/Botany I'm currently using Detectives Hunch to find totems after a gen pops so I can farm out my "Bless Hexes" achievement easier.
Don't think botany knowledge stacks with boon.

Bite The Bullet is such an underrated perk. Sure, Iron Will gives you a constant bonus of no sounds, but Bite The Bullet combined with self-heal perks or items literally lets you choose when you want to make sound and when not.

@@freaknlh948 Nurses Calling hasn't been meta since 2017, and if you use Shadow Step, they won't see your aura anyway

okay im new to dbd, but im not sure what you mean, constant bonus of no sounds vs only being able to make no sound when injured doesn't make sense on why I should pick bite the bullet over iron will
@@Captain_Toasty It's basically very situational. If you're new to DBD, Iron Will is obviously better. If you want to throw the killer off, however, you take Bite The Bullet. In that case, you can make no sound whenever you want and the killer won't be expecting you to suddenly disappear because they'll be more inclined to listen to sounds rather than your blood pools, for example; assuming you don't have any other perks or your team mates, that make your scratch marks/pool of bloods disappear.
I love Circle of Healing. I was going to make it a main perk until it got removed for a bit xD
Now that it's back, I'll use it.
Bite the Bullet is pretty good. I remember being injured and I was healing myself and Ghost Face was the floor above me. I could hear his footsteps and it was really tense but he didn't know where I was because I was silent.
Love your ghost face also my uncle played and went against you the other day i told him who it was and he started watch you too.

My build: Boon Healing, Shadowstep, Exponential, and Flip-Flop. Exponential is an auto revive and accumulates at 100% speed. Even if the killer decides to grab you, auto revive will convert to 50% of your wiggle. It's been helping me a lot. I really wanted to sub in Soul Guard but unless you're on a team, you can't communicate to leave one hex active.
Do you think boon totems will receive changes in the future?
Easily. Boons are Mettle of Man levels of easy for Survivors.

They are a great addition to the game, a little change to move the meta perks in a most fun direction, we must get used to face them, but i love to see different builds coming up in the matches, instead of deadhard, bt, ds and unbreakable, over and over and over again :D
I still like your idea that snuffing totems as killer will bring your hex back, so the survivors have to make a choice whether to boon or cleanse. Hope to see this change someday!
I think either the boons should be destroyed if the killer finds them, or give them limited charges.
I know you are an amazing Huntress main, but I LOVE watching killer mains play survivor for some reason. Just a different playing angle.

I think that this is a "fast heal" build. Less of a "never hook me build"
But he doesn't heal himself fast, he heals without noise and doesn't leave scratchmarks
More of a stealth heal build, which then again allows him to be unhooked

I have an idea for another boon perk. It’s called boon: restless whenever you use an exhaustion perk and are within 24 meters of a boon totem, you will have a shortened exhaustion timer which is now 30-25-20 or 25-20-15 the boons effect lasts outside of its range for 4 seconds

I’m going to have to try this build. The boons did get nerfed from the PTB but honestly they are still over powered

I also had a similar build but I used deception so when im looping the L wall and long wall I can fake a locker and continue running but its cool to see different adaptations cant wait to see them and try them all :)

Bite the Bullet is legit a sleeper strong perk. It instantly gives you Iron Will, and it has come in handy in avoiding sneaky killers.

I've managed to get out of a few chases with Bite the Bullet and a medkit. Always fun to dip around the corner, start silently healing and because you didn't have Iron Will the Killer thinks you kept running because they could hear you before but can't hear you NOW.
You don't even need Shadow Step on swamp maps, scratch marks are damn near impossible to see there already.

The books are definitely going to get nerfed a bit, I imagine it’s going to be a range nerf just because the radius on them feels a big too big, even as a survivor I think to myself it’s a bit too big
It's fine for survivors to have perks that are a little strong. Killers get new perks with every chapter whereas Survivor perks are almost always useless and not worth running. Nerfing this will return to the same stale meta.
@@saintsalieri I play both survivor and killer, and boon totems are way to good. A 8 second heal with a medkit and no botonny knowledge is way too op. Shadowstep is reasonable but circle needs half speed for sure.

@Psyxlox slobby butcher would be the counter to Circle and now it's 10 seconds wow, lots of counter play. Oh, I snuffed your boon? Good thing you can do it infinitely. Mori is just a waste of time and all of the perks that insta down have real counterplay. Imagine if I could just go put devour back up after you cleansed it, would that be fun? And just replace everytime spookyloopz says insane with op.
@Psyxlox also how tf are we using mori with no hooks? Devour? Which is 5 stacks with a cleansable totem.
Simple fix for boons for me. Don't allow them to be replaced on the same totem. You get 5 tokens so to speak and when they're gone they're gone.
killers should be able to destroy the blessed totem. This perk is too OP

I played against 3 mikaelas in Haddonfield. They had their boons, which I couldn’t find, and I kept losing chase with them because of shadow step and then they’d all be healed 5 seconds later. Pretty balanced so far

Boons need changed so bad, they nerf the new hex from crow lady just by existing, boons should not stack with other healing methods like med kits, and the extra heal eff they give should be halved at the very least and if the killers loses hexs from a single cleanse I think its only fair that the same applies to boons as well, the fact that boons can come back as many times as the survivors want and that boon healing is so strong is nuts. imagine the killer having infinite ruin that you can never get rid of or devour hope you can never get rid of, boon healing at the very lest is comparable in strength to both of those in its current state.
Giving this a try right now. Been running Self H, Bond, Spine C, and Urban for years. I avoid the baddie at all costs cuz I suck at chases.
Time to switch it up.

I'm partial to Bite the Bullet/Lucky Break/Self-Care/Self-Preservation, myself. I call it "Stealth Health". That said, I guess Shadow Step could take the place of Lucky Break in that build?

I'd call it more like the "Escape Artist Build" or the "Ninja Build" cause I think going with a teammate and running Saboteur and Breakout with Metal of Man or something is more like the "Never Get Hooked" build

The boons are a very interesting perk to me. If only one, hell even two, people are running it it's not too bad. Maybe a little annoying, but once you know it's there you know to listen for em while patrolling and such. It's when there is an entire team running them that they become just awful to face, since by the time you cleanse two, the first one you cleansed is back up. God forbid you get a small map too, that just makes the boons over most of it. The effects they have themselves I feel should be the same. I just think maybe have a global limit of two boons active at a time. If too far a nerf than I suppose three is OK. I really love their concept though and can't wait for more boon perks. Same when it comes to scourge hooks
