I do enjoy " Bezerk " as well. I bought it with a bunch of other metal records, and did not expect much. " Young and Crazy " I got after listening to this, and liking it. They put out singles on " Spotify " every now and again, I was playing their latest single " Taking The Pain " just the other day. Very much the same, very catchy and same vocals, worth a listen. Just a excellent Glam record.
I think I get a rough 8.5 for this album. "I can fight dirty too" and "Squeeze it dry" are the only ones that let the album down at all imo. Personally I think this was their pinnacle, their debut was weaker, and their subsequent albums weren't as catchy, but those later albums are still excellent. Their Wazbonez! album is a completely different genre, they play thrash on that, and do an excellent job of it too. It's weird, I think they released that under the band name Wazbonez, but I could be wrong on that. Under the Wazbonez moniker they covered some great thrash songs, unfortunately not contained on the album.
Ya, I see the Wazbones album for sale on discogs but a tad too expensive to get on vinyl... I will go and sample a bit of the tunes to see what you mean... Thrash you say eh? Hmmmm... LOL
Great Album
Thanks for the shout out Dan! Brilliant album, brilliant review!
Np Dave! And thanks for the suggestion! As you can see, I had loads of fun revisiting this one (which I had forgotten) :)
Sick Sex and Action City are my faves
I have listened to it twice! Really enjoyed it! Never heard of them! So many bands slipped by
My only complaint is background vocals seem to high in the mix.
I can fight dirty too, does remind me of Loudness.
I will check out their other stuff, but first I will listen to 2.0 version. Really, enjoyed this album. Thank you!
Hahaha! I know eh? Yeah, lots of bands I did not know about i'm discovering in the past 5 years due to this channel... YT helps me too ya know! :)
Not a problem! Was a great listen for me too! :)

@ i shall give it a try. 😋😂
The first album has a different singer Dan, and imo he has a weaker voice, and the songwriting isn't as good as Bezerk.
Ya, I knew it was a different singer... just forgot his name... I'll be listening to it tonite! :)
