    YOU can hear it lean-sneeze. Turn the low speed needle out till she smooths out, constantly revving it to a fast idle and back down again. once the sneezing/backfiring stops, it should be run on the water full speed for 3 solid minutes, then quickly returned to idle. any sneeze, turn it out 1/8th and try again. should be perfect then though.

    If you pull the button out on the side of your control box it keeps the transmission in neutral so you can throttle the engine up without going into gear.

    That plunger is your electric choke solenoid. Mine was sticking when i got it. I actually cut a small piece of tubing to put at the bottom of the plunger that way it doesnt get stuck at the bottom. Its like a magnet when u hit the switch. Anyways put a tiny piece of something even a pen cap cut down to size and then adjust the rod so ur choke moves freely up and down. My switch is on my ignition push and hold for choke. Same motor 70 35 hp chrysler. Hope that helps

    Sounds like lean sneeze, try carb idle screw, counter clockwise. And do sync and link.

    I have a 70's Chrysler 35 hp you have to unscrew the tank pressure valve on the cap so it will breath. One year we used the old gas with unknown water in it and rusted up the fuel pump.Do you have the funky clothsline and pulley steering system ? Hope the line don't break.

    It looks that the shift linkage is not in the lock position, and the sound of the motor looks that the propeller is mid engaged. Make a correct linkage regulation and try. And I have the idea that the ignition is not in the correct timing. Take a look.

    I have a chrysler 45 that im putting on a starcraft arrow 14 ft. Looks exactly like this. Did you put that block of wood because the transom is weak? Mine isn't the greatest

    I have the same size boat and motor, how far can you go on that 6 gal gas tank?

    • @CalebTomaschefsky-Youtube
      @CalebTomaschefsky-Youtube  4 года назад

      I carry 3 tanks. Usually about 1 - 2 hours of constant running, for one tank. Kinda depends on how fast your going.

    • @CalebTomaschefsky-Youtube
      @CalebTomaschefsky-Youtube  5 лет назад

      Your talking about the cover correct? Theres a little switch underneath it, should just push it to the left or right and pull it right off.
