It hurts me to say but UL certification has been removed, you didn't mention it enough and we at UL felt the video was "Too Restricted"
I know my comment is proper chitty but i don't restrict my comments.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dorks...
how does the wired compare to the ecells going up the hills
Looks great without the fenders and rack
Use lock tight medium for all your bolts
Ul certified, big thumbs up 👍🏻
Max pedal assist and lowest mechanical gear is best for climbing hills. Only time I would mess with pedal assist is when I want to increase range.
I would take them off it looks better
I just automatically hit the like button when I hear hey chit heads. lol 😂
Good thing you doused that light! It would have rattled off.
I'd go to a 40t, could probably do so trail riding then,
I am a You Tuber. Yee Ha, LOL
The bike looks great. I think a new front sprocket will be in order as well. I would love to pull the fenders off. But I live in Vegas most of the bike friendly trails are also occupied by homeless drug addicts as well. They take great delight in urinating and defecating on the trails so the fenders are a must because sometimes it just can't be avoided.
Yea don't want any of that on you that's for sure
UL Certified........UR Certifiable. Another enjoyable video with good information.
Silly human!
Cows are terrifying.
Haha, I was thinking of you when I said that
love how you demonstrated the 46 tooth. Nice work
I really like the 46 tooth for climbing
You want hill climbing gearing for pedal assist, my Philodo H8 has a 28 to 28 tooth first gear ratio XD, slow as hell but coupled with 2 1500 watt peak motors there isn't a hill it can't climb
That is quite the gear combo!
Great comparisons thanks! And yes that bike looks killer stripped down without racks/fenders. I'd do the same thing if I had it, I don't need that stuff anyways. With the power that bike has I'm thinking a 48t chain ring would also be a nice compromise to get lower gearing for hills without sacrificing much top end speed. Another plus with a smaller chain ring is that it gives you more clearance between it and the ground, so your less likely to smack the chain ring going over bigger rocks, logs ect.
Good point, that 56 tooth has hit a few things, like rolling the bike down stairs. It's a bit big
God i can't wait to receive my wired freedom. The damn black is on backorder until end of may!!! :(
That's still in time for summer! Can't believe Johnny Sins commented on my video!
Whats yur p5 setting set at, mine came set at 8
Should be set to 6 with the 2024 model
No guard though, isn’t that chain going to fall off the minute you go on the grass or hit a little bumpy area?
haven't had any issues with it coming off as of yet
My Roxy---came with 8 speed Altus...11-38 and 48 tooth----and it was perfect. I changed the front to a 52T----for a 1 mph gain in top speed to 42 mph...was not worth the hassle of the change and I can feel the difference now in every gear...i.e. little more effort to pedal. YOU almost hit a cow...that has to be illegal in CA
And with no racks I wouldn't have been able to take the cow home either.
@@shootthechit ....cows can be fun....
No chain guard on those new chain rings, huh? I guess I got lucky, as my 45T has a chain guard - And what a huge difference it has made on my Cruiser. That 56T front chain ring is a joke, in my opinion. Like you, when hitting MY top speed of 33MPH (so low due to my bike weighing 140 pounds now) I don't get ghost-pedaling, but my cadence is definitely faster, but I'm okay with that. Love the HappyTail references ..Hahaha. OMG the "I'm UL Certified" shout outs were hilarious..! Great video..!
So far I really like it and don't mind the higher cadence at all. It actually felt easier to get the bike going faster. How many chain links did you remove?
@@shootthechit I didn’t remove any. Everything is working fine. Did you remove links?
@groovr22 I did, initially I removed 8 which was too many and it wouldn't go into the lowest gear . Ended up removing 2 in the end
@@shootthechit I rode 55 miles yesterday with the new 45T and no links removed. Never had an issue switching gears or anything. Rode totally fine. I’m betting you could have left those 2 links in…
@@groovr22 You're probably right.
I would def throw some locktite on those crank arm bolts. Will def help. Thnx for sharing with us.
Yep, Locktite , definitely your friend.😊
I don't think that was a random cow, she picked you for her spirit animal😂
lol
I checked my WF crank bolts and they were tight. Did you use any thread locker because I'll probably be pulling them, dabbing some Loctite blue 242 on them then torquing them to specs. Anyone know the specs?
Good chit, keep it up!
I didn't use any threadlocker, but might do that if it continues to happen
@@shootthechit After watching that vijeo I will probably opt for the 11-34 cassette and keep the 56T front. I will probably swap the chain out for a full o-ring chain as well.
@@iwastoldtherewouldbenomath6869 you got a link for an o-ring chain?
@@tenncutt I haven't done the research yet but I imagine it's a standard bike chain. I might reach out to Wired soon.
Hey, are you UL certified now? 🤣🤣🤣🤪
🤣 Of course, I am personally UL Certifiable
Another chitty day in Pair of Dice 😅 add the test track proving grounds, assaulting the hill of hell. Sounds more violent than a Terminator movie
Its not UL certified. Huge lie from Wired since they cant produce the paperwork for their customers.
n bkbk m nklnllkn n.
@@heyreddin2.0s10 gotta love these piad commenters
Well the “Kentucky Tooth” 46 certainly seems to do the trick if you have hilly terrain!
Is it "certified" or "compliant"? Apparently, there is a difference.
sweet ride report, loved it!
I have seen you push HEAVY Weight on the Bench and was impressed.....but....I think you need to remember LEGS need love too....🤣😂
There is no such thing as leg day
@shootthechit ..ha ha ha....u r not alone in that belief....
Great to here! Love the scenery. Does look really good naked. TY for sharing!
Looks like a large BMX and it does look good.
@@Old_Man_PeteI wish I didnt need my rack. lol
@@rabbithomesteading3797 same here, I have an extra 20Ah battery mounted to mine plus it's not a wired freedom so wouldn't look as cool 😎
Awesome, you did it. Thanks for making this hill test video! I'm cracking up about you mentioning it being "UL certified"...I know where that came from. lol
It is ul certified 🤔
Someone finally went on dirt with an ebike. I was starting to think they were just for waxing and putting in the corner.
Damn that was quick, 1 snarky comment and BAM! up pops the video. I wish you worked on our job sight, shit would actually get done. Looks like I’m swapping out front and back. Definitely will use the links so you can continue to get rich. How’s today’s news broadcast coming btw? (sorry just couldn’t help myself)
Great video! Love your sense of humor, cracks me up....Awesome trails there....looks cool😊.
I have 42 chainring on my folding ebike n it works great on hills.
Here in Newfoundland there's alot of them😅
I love watchin this chit. I like it without the rack. Thinkin bout doin it. Thanks buddy
As a fellow reviewer, you had me chuckling
Nice trail! Are these free range cattle on public land? If so watch out for the range Bull!! So true, hills don’t show their true colours on video. Thank you.
I was impressed by your Shade Tree Mechanic Skills.....to really do it under the tree....skills!!💪
You taught the manufacturer something!!
beautiful scenery and video chit&piss.
My son said “he’s risking it” when you were coming down them hills at speed. Lol
Nice run, scenery was awesome, bike looks good
Awesome video as always. It looks sooooo much better without the rear rack.
It seems no one rides “The Wall” anymore, it looks overgrown and rough. Back in the 90’s it smooth and you would see people going up and down. I guess we as humans are less active these days just sitting around watching your videos.
It varies, it's in better condition in the summer. The cows really rutted it up with the recent rain
This morning, I "sprang forward" and took my Freedom out for it's second ride! Rode the hills and trails around Livermore by my House, East Bay Area Ca... Similar to terrain and topography you rode in this Video!!! Go Mt Diablo!!! 666!!! The Beast!! Devil Mountain!!! : ) Awesome Content like always! You are appreciated and hearted by "Cit Heads" like me and "The Chit Head Nation"!!!! I'm going to lower my gearing as you recommend as I don't need all the top end, but lower end would come in handy to get me up the steep prolonged grades. First thing I did was remove the rack and headlight!!Lokks Bad Ass now I think!!! "Manly and burly!!! Like Diablo!! Lol.. Still have tail Light Gorilla Taped to the frame until I can decide how to mount it in back or just snip the wires. Which I would not really want to-do.. Did you have to modify the length of the chain at all and does it tend to jump the sprockets with the new gearing as I noticed you through off the chain?? Anyway!!! Thank You!!! Great UL Chit Head Certified Hill Test!!! FREEEEDDDOOOOMMMM!!!!! : )
I took out 2 chain links, but I bet it would have worked without removing any, might be a bit loose though.
I'm going to do Mt Diablo at some point, I've done it on other bikes. Does Livermore have any good bike trails?
you might have to remove a few links of the chain with the 46 toof sprocket too keep it from popping off my brother love the chit content !!
I actually did remove a few. Initially I did 8 and that was too much and it wouldn't go into the lowest gear. Ended up removing 2 total, but could probably do 2 more
We use to go down in the mines at Nortonville back in the 70s and party! You ever hear of the White Witch of Nortonville? She's a ghost so she is probably still around! Supposed she was Sarah Norton, you ever see the Nortonville Cemetery? Great video by the way. I graduated in 1975 in Concord
Nice! I wonder when they sealed the mines off, I remember hearing about my friends parents that also partied in the mines back in the day. I think at some point someone got lost in there and they gated them off.
We learned about the White Witch on a field trip in 3rd grade!
@@shootthechit some kids actually died in the mines, my wife knew who they were. Must have been late 70s or early 80s. My memory of those good old days is slightly foggy you might say! There used to be a big landfill they built neighborhoods on! That would be between hwy 4 and the mines . We would drive down Clayton Rd in Concord, go through the little town of Clayton and get on a dirt road there that took you all the way to Nortonville/Somersville!
I love the new look! My rack is coming off too as soon as I have time to figure out how to remount the tail light.
I just decided to ditch the tail light. Easier that way and I don't ride at night.. I've seen people ziptie it to the seat post which looks decent
Another informative and entertaining video, thanks. But at this point,I think everyone knows you're "certified".
