Man, this was an awesome anime. I miss the old times.. wher Clannad, Sola, Air, Higurashi, Canon, School days were there.. now get get shit like sword art online.
Yeah, I thought the 2000s were a better time as well even when the adults were worried over a broken down education system and an economic crisis. Though I did not see Clannad and Kanon until more recently than I saw ef. School Days was a bit morbid to get used to seeing immediately.
Wow I thought I was the only one who liked School Days. Don't get me wrong, I HATE the main character and how the anime progressed but at the same time I couldn't find myself hating on the anime. It did what many people always wanted from any main protagonist of harem anime... he actually banged them all lol But anyway, I find School Days so good because in some ways it's actually very realistic (the cheating, the jealousy and heck in some ways even the killing, cause that happens)
really want this song to be transcribed by animenz so i can learn it on piano. really got me on an emotional level so I'd like to learn it. there's no sheets currently for it so if anyone has anything speak up.
This song is one of the reasons I get pissed when someone calls Hans Zimmer "the greatest composer of our time". I agree that he's good but his music has become predictable now and has little emotion when compared to Tenmon or Yuki Kajiura.
Teh Fabled Her last works were SAO and SAO2, so it's understandable. But one theme doesn't overlap several works, the structure of notes is similar but that's closer to a signature than repetitiveness and it doesn't lack emotion. I absolutely loved the soundtrack from Pandora Hearts, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Fate/Zero and, while I could tell it's Yuki Kajiura, none of them gave off the feeling of boring repetitiveness. It's Yasuharu Takanashi's scores that are starting to sound REALLY samey.
People tend to look at only what is in front of them and make assumptions based on what they see not knowing that all they have to do is look a little further to find something much more precious
+Aska2468 The music of Kara no Kyoukai does sound partwise as something which could be in SAO though. I don't see the problem though, Joe Hisaishi's tracks for Miyazaki's movies are also always kind of similar, but still unique, so.. :) But I'm with you. People saying sth like "Hans Zimmer is the best composer of all time" or "[....] is the best composer of all time" in general don't really know more than like five. :/
Personally her stuff in KnK is probably my favorite music. I haven't watched'/heard SAO stuff but I'd be surprised if they transfer to that world nearly as easily as your thinking, a lot of that music is highly atmospheric for a TypeMoony supernatural world.
Such a nice melody gives me the feels everytime!
I really thank you very much that you still keep this masterpiece online
efは神アニメでした。凄いアニメ作品です。原作ゲームもいつかやりたい。switchに移植されたら良いな

It's hilarious that you mention SAO because they have a song very similar to this one. "Think Tenderly Of You" it's called, (great music)

Aska2468 To be honest, Yuki Kaijura's scores are starting to sound really samey
