Yes! And many kids (grown ups, too) will drink chocolate milk, but not regular milk. It's not necessary, as he gets good nutrition elsewhere. Haven't found anything better with cereal, though! 😛

My little granddaughter wont do milk either. She went from nursing to a straw. They got her spillproof and leakproof straw cups and fill them with water and she has that all day long. She gets her dairy from cheese and yogurt and all the other good stuff from the food she eats. She loves food as well. While she eats she hums. Its adorable.
Give him milk in a cup. Or Try mixing it in oatmeal. Try giving him yogurt. I wouldn’t worry about it though. You can get enough calcium in other foods now that he can start to eat table foods. Your doing great mom! 👍🏼 😊

2 suggestions for milk issue, you can buy reusable apple sauce pouches on Amazon and try it in there or just put it in a sippy cup with a straw and only give to him during meals and good luck!!
Some children just don’t like milk after tasting food, it’s ok! Make sure he’s hydrated with water or whatever liquids he likes. You got this Mom, you’re already doing everything you need to with cheese, yogurt maybe some ice cream! Y’all eat healthy and Maverick looks fine. Just let your pediatrician know next visit in case he needs a vitamin, but I doubt he’ll need that even.

We use to give our chickens mill worms and when our Grandsons would take them bananas, they would jump in their laps to eat the bananas. Mav is precious. Much love and blessings.
I've always enjoyed the smells of a farm, from the feed, to the animals, to the grass or crops, rain, and so on. As a kid, I didn't like the smell driving by a large dairy, but now it's nostalgia for me, as that was where we lived, it just reminds me of growing up.

My 4yo was the same way at 1 he would only eat food, refused ANY milk!! Would either spill it everywhere or throw it. He did love water though and would drink smoothies with yogurt & milk.
That's what I'm thinking, too. Many new, interesting tastes, textures to discover! As long as he's getting the right nutrients elsewhere, milk is not necessary. He may want it with cereal when he's older, though! 😺
Our son couldn’t have cows milk until he was 3 years old. Water and smoothies was the only thing he had to drink once he weaned himself at 1. I just made sure he was eating a well balanced diet and I supplemented with a probiotic and multivitamin. We also did occasional blood work to make sure he wasn’t deficient in anything. Also, we never used a bottle and went straight to a straw cup. Good luck!
Once my daughter learned how to drink from a cup, she refused to drink from a bottle. It could also be your son's stomach is shrinking and any solid food he's eating makes him feel full.
@@What.The.Fluff. I think it also might be they see you drinking from a cup/glass and not from a bottle or a nipple, so they want to copy you, especially when everyone else in the family is drinking from cups/glasses. I've read that earaches and mouth ulcers can also cause them to refuse to suck.
I love that Mav gets so excited over the chickens. My son is 3 and has autism and chickens were the only animal that he would get excited over so we got 16 chickens for him back in February 🤣. We lost one starting out but now they are about 6 months old. I have 8 laying eggs so far. We got 7 more back in May then right after we got them we lost one so I went back and got 4 more 😬. They are 12/13 weeks old now. Then the other day I ordered 10 Light Brahmas (Rural King sent 11) and then I saw some Silkies in Rural King, got 6 of those, I just lost 2(they had pasty butt) so I went back and got 3 more today 😂. I now have 18 baby chicks. They free range too so they eat a wide range of food from chic starter, layer pellets, scratch feed, oyster shells, fruit, crickets, leeches, etc. Do your chickens also eat birds, mice, moles, etc? Mine will hunt down random birds in the trees and will take down a snake if need be. They are wilddd.
Amber I had a sociology professor that was known for making chocolate chip cookies with crickets and peanut butter cookies with meal worms in them for her 101 class to teach about different cultures and food. I tried the peanut butter and they weren't bad. I wouldn't be surprised if the chicken snacks smell good.
Many people eat insects, some cultures regularly. Restaurants across the country are serving them, stores have products containing them. Good thing mealworms smell good, because we all might be eating them soon! 😉
I'm with Maverick, I'm not a baby I'm an OLD lady but I've never been crazy about milk. I eat cheerios dry, I will eat grapeflakes with Almond milk which I have not done in years and years. He is adorable as is Your other two. Thank you for sharing your life with me.
My middle child hated anything to do with milk of any kind. Our Dr just told us to try to get her to at least eat cheeses. My kiddos loved the sippies with straws.

When my daughter stopped taking a bottle. She refused milk. She ate meats so the pediatrician wasn't overly concerned as long as she was getting the nutrients. Prior to that she would drink a COW as long as it was from a bottle...lol
WOW My son stopped taking breast milk at 7 months & went to a sippy cup, but he did drink milk from a bottle a little bit. Sorry he is giving you a hard time. As much as it will free you up with him not breastfeeding anymore, I know how empty it makes you feel, too. Wish I could hear Granger preaching & meet you both. Someday I hope to catch him in a concert & meet you during “The Best Time” meet & greet.
Lucky you with maverick being done with a bottle!! I think they make baby cups with straws that are spill proof. Get him those. Continue with smoothies and milkshakes. I think they even make a toddler shake like ensure . Just some ideas! From Montgomery al 🙏 ❤️

My youngest hated the bottle and hated milk by the time he was 10 months. He was breast fed/bottle fed because his dad and I divorced when he was very young, separated even younger. We started him on sippy cups and put strawberry milk(he was allergic to chocolate) or just anything to get him to drink. I know we went thru about 4-6 bottles of juice a week. Just find what he will drink and roll with it, babies are smarter than we give them credit for. They know when they are thirsty and they will drink then.
Our little guy was the same way! We tried every bottle under the sun. The problem was me! Once it wasn’t momma feeding him, he decided to take an interest :) then once he became familiar enough with the bottle he began taking it from me!

My second son now 11yrs refused cow milk (he liked raw fresh from a cow) til he was in like 1st or 2nd grade... he preferred food n other liquids when we stopped breastmilk ar 12months... i prob should have pumped longer but it was summer and i wanted to be out and about ... anyways he would eat his cereal dry n sip on water to flush it down lol... regular milk just made his stomach hurt and he didnt want it... even if organic... we buy a2 milk mostly now and he can drink cups of that n not get belly aches or be bloated... if yours refuses milk he knows what he needs... offer but dont push it.. mind love cheese so im sure they got enough thru cheeses n yogurts...

Giving him liquids as much as possible is fine (have seen this a bit) but it shouldn't be something to worry about that he is not interested in milk anymore. I know it seems strange but it's good. He's growing 😊
My daughter quit taking the bottle at nine months. She would however take a sippy cup (but only a certain one). I had her sitting up and drinking from a sippy cup that I held until she could do it herself.
I really like your greenhouse by your garden! That will make it so nice to have and so convenient! 🥰😍 Trying goats milk in milk shakes is a good plan for Mavy. Water or anything with vitamins that he might like to drink is good too! 🥰🙂
Honestly just healthy foods!! If he won’t take a bottle anymore then I guess you can’t force him! I would try like peanut butter smoothies with yogurt and vitamins, especially because he’s not getting those vitamins from the milk! And feed it to him by a spoon. And if he’s ready keep a straw sippy cup by him often to introduce him to it! Love y’all! Jesus loves you! YEE YEE!

Lucky you with maverick being done with a bottle!! I think they make baby cups with straws that are spill proof. Get him those. Continue with smoothies and milkshakes. I think they even make a toddler shake like ensure . Just some ideas! From Montgomery al 🙏 ❤️

Really like the new garden and greenhouse setup. Watched the folks try the nasty fish last night. Poor Ben had a tough time, and it's hilarious that y'all chose to put him in the promo for the video. Parker didn't fare too well either. Won't be long before Maverick is able to stand up and see through that window on his own, and before we know it, he'll be closing out the videos. My youngest hated the bottle and hated milk by the time he was 10 months. He was breast fed/bottle fed because his dad and I divorced when he was very young, separated even younger. We started him on sippy cups and put strawberry milk(he was allergic to chocolate) or just anything to get him to drink. I know we went thru about 4-6 bottles of juice a week. Just find what he will drink and roll with it, babies are smarter than we give them credit for. They know when they are thirsty and they will drink then.

Our little guy was the same way! We tried every bottle under the sun. The problem was me! Once it wasn’t momma feeding him, he decided to take an interest :) then once he became familiar enough with the bottle he began taking it from me!
I’ve never heard of a baby not wanting milk, crazy. I’m sure he’s getting what he needs for fluids. Love seeing all of you on an episode. Love your family ♥️♥️
My second son now 11yrs refused cow milk (he liked raw fresh from a cow) til he was in like 1st or 2nd grade... he preferred food n other liquids when we stopped breastmilk ar 12months... i prob should have pumped longer but it was summer and i wanted to be out and about ... anyways he would eat his cereal dry n sip on water to flush it down lol... regular milk just made his stomach hurt and he didnt want it... even if organic... we buy a2 milk mostly now and he can drink cups of that n not get belly aches or be bloated... if yours refuses milk he knows what he needs... offer but dont push it.. mind love cheese so im sure they got enough thru cheeses n yogurts...

Giving him liquids as much as possible is fine (have seen this a bit) but it shouldn't be something to worry about that he is not interested in milk anymore. I know it seems strange but it's good. He's growing 😊
My daughter quit taking the bottle at nine months. She would however take a sippy cup (but only a certain one). I had her sitting up and drinking from a sippy cup that I held until she could do it herself.
I really like your greenhouse by your garden! That will make it so nice to have and so convenient! 🥰😍 Trying goats milk in milk shakes is a good plan for Mavy. Water or anything with vitamins that he might like to drink is good too! 🥰🙂

Honestly just healthy foods!! If he won’t take a bottle anymore then I guess you can’t force him! I would try like peanut butter smoothies with yogurt and vitamins, especially because he’s not getting those vitamins from the milk! And feed it to him by a spoon. And if he’s ready keep a straw sippy cup by him often to introduce him to it! Love y’all! Jesus loves you! YEE YEE!
