Retired up here at the north end of the Temagami wilderness. Never heard of these tiny biting flies till I came here. I had my RV trailer at a wilderness lake and they came right through the window screens and were biting us. Talked to a local guy and he said they breed on sandy beaches of lakes. Don’t know if this is correct. This lake did have a long sandy beach on my side. I know Jon of Lost Lakes mentioned them and I think you said their name as well.
