- Velvet's life has changed and she has locked away her carefree heart. Now, all that remains of her facade is a dark and gloomy character who will do anything to achieve her goals. She is a being who is shunned and by the voice of the Abbey, is feared by the world.
She feels loneliness in life, having to continuously face many conflicts and build up hatred.

The whole very reasoning I used behind making this video tbh.
I say it all the time. On the Advent, the one sacrificed wasn't Laphicet, it was Velvet. In a skit on the path to Aball, Magilou said, 'If she sees her old friends, maybe she'll regain some of what she lost.' Laphicet said to that, 'But what has she lost?' I kept thinking, 'Wrong question Laphicet. It isn't what HAS she lost, it's what *HASN'T* she lost?'
One thing.
Life.
And without everything else... it’s not much
Her old life
Her family
Her friends
All joy she once felt
Any chance of living the life she wanted
Need I go on?
It was Laphicet though, the fact that he came back as Inominat proves that. Also,, the sacrifice had to have high resonance and be free of malevolence, Velvet qualified for neither of those. She has zero resonance, and in that moment she wasn't free of malevolence either. Hell, she literally became a daemon in that moment.
@@ItsXetren I meant figuratively, not literally. True, Laphicet was the LITERAL sacrifice, but, that Scarlet Night, the one who lost everything, including their 'real self', was Velvet. She lost her whole world and became the very antithesis of all that she was.
@@DivineWarriorAyra Still don't see how that makes her a metaphorical sacrifice. To be sacrificed means to give up something in exchange for something else. Unless you mean to say that Velvet herself sacrificed her humanity to pursue revenge, in which case I can see how that makes sense.
Being a Raven fan then seeing Velvet she seems cool i kinda wish she had her own anime series.. this is probably the best Velvet amv i've seen nice editing..

There is an anime for her, haha 😄. Only 1 episode of her in Tales of Zesteria. Episode 7/13 I think? She was extremely powerful in the anime though. 🤧

Velvet is unique in terms of protagonists in that she's not craving adventure yet through no fault of her own she's forced to live as a fugitive after the man she loved as a father betrayed her and killed her brother who she lived for
There will be an anime but it is for the Tales of Zestiria series Velvet make a appearance it is coming out in 2021 at some point.

@@creaturetransylvania8943 In all fairness, 80% of Velvet is revenge. She also encourages murder and a bunch of other criminal acts. Not exactly a good role model.
This is really well done, I haven't listened to Disturbed since my high school days so this was a nice throwback aswell.

It is a game but there were 2 episodes from Tales of Zestiria X that followed around Velvet and the beginning of the game so its a mix technically.
