  • We head out to Burrator Reservoir Float Tubing ( Belly Boating) with the British Float Tubing Association. Burrator part of the South West Lakes Trust stocks Blue Trout and Rainbow Trout and has a head of Wild Brown Trout. Kevin Primmer and Dave Williams talk us through getting started, with over 40 years float tubing experience between them. Burrator at its best and some awesome aerial footage from the Techsec Drone. Looks like great fun. I did try to find the BFTA but it seems their website has been closed down and their domain name for sale. Are they still active and is it purely targeted at fly fishermen? It's so popular in Europe, but for some reason I have seen very few making use of it in the UK.

Lovely video! just a quick question, Does the association membership include a waterways licence as part of the membership? or do you need to buy one separately?

The membership cover insurance etc but you still need to purchase a fishing permit / ticket. And have a rod licence.

Dont know if anyone gives a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother for the last weeks =)
