The only difference between the mob and politicians/government is sometimes mobsters go to prison.
And the mob has more integrity 🤣🤣🤣
Alot more politicians have been jailed than mobsters.. only difference is mobsters did a better job..
Why do so many believe this?
The day the government routinely murders citizens and leaves them in car trunks, yeah, then I'll say they're "just like the mob".
Until then, no, the mob is WAY, WAY worse; come on, now...

I stumbled on this video and can't believe it's Sammy The Bull...Wow....
@@vickylawrence3958 I grew up when Sammy was still young and in the papers. Seeing him now on RUclips is crazy.
At 70, I remember when Sammy and his type were the Big Time stars of the newspapers. It's sad to me that this man is selling the last thing he owns of worth in an online carnival sideshow.
No, I won't be subscribing. I won't share in this indignity. Yes, he served an outlaw empire, but he is still a human, and I find this inhumane.
@@JohnSmith-ft2tw How's this "inhumane"? He's lucky he's even out.
@@justinlecroy3579 I'm not speaking for anyone but myself. I find it inhuman to strip the last dignity from a human before the meat grinder of life swallows them up. Good or bad, this person was a unique creation, given place on the Earth.
Yes, he was a bad person, and deserved worse than he got. But at some point, even the worst "sinner" should be left some scrap of respect that they can cover their nakedness with. If not for their sake, then for our own.
The difference between the mob and our politicians is that mobsters face consequences for their actions.
“I did not have sexual relation with that woman “
The Clinton's think otherwise.
Politicians, diplomates have immunity status.....they are above the law. It's called a double standard...."the laws for thee but not for me".
Do they really? Interesting theory
Imagine if politicians were like the mafia and we were the boss
The whole story of him meeting with the old school bosses as a young man is epic! Got me hooked
I'd feel more comfortable dealing with the mob than with congress.
You said it all Mike !!
Congress Is a group of crime syrime famalies but instndicate families. Literally.CRIME BLOODLINES. FBI was supposed t o infiltrate crime families but instead the FBI GOT INFITRATED BY CRIME FAMILIES. As for government v. mob, I'm reminded of the song "Why Can't We Be Friends" by WAR, and the following lyric: "I hear you're working for the CIA...they wouldn't have you in the Mafi-AAAA!" Truer words were never sang.

Wow, Sammy was right. During the Commission trial those bosses went down for it. Is it called bid rigging what Sammy was describing?
I work in the construction industry in New York. I was told once by a guy "We have our government and you have yours" " Yours is worse"

Yes... Absolutely 🤗🥰
I was a young kid in the 70’s and living in Minnesota when the well known mobsters like Paul Castellano, Tony Salerno, John Gotti, etc. were around in New York, I HAD more respect for those people than today’s modern politicians.
Politicians are the biggest crooks on the planet.

“Remember that in life. Listen with
both ears. You listen to one story. You listen to the other one.Someplace in the middle is the truth.
No that's not always true. Sometimes one is a total liar and the other is telling only the truth. Just learn to discern fact from fiction if you want the real story.
Considering politics, it is true. You have to gather everyone's story and piece together the truth.
@@markbrown7968 oh yeah you gotta collect all the evidence build your case etc. What I'm saying is some guy pleads not guilty and calls the witness a liar he may very well be guilty and the witness telling the truth so don't just go assuming ahhh it's a little of this a little of that (to be fair) sometimes they let assholes get away with things with that attitude. Now with Trump they are refusing to even look at the evidence that's a cover up after the set up like the man said Trump ain't stupid.
I don't know if you follow Canadian politics too but we got Trudeau and he was found guilty of accepting bribes, interfering with the AG and a criminal investigation which was obstruction of justice and he forced her to resign and now he's on another scandal because he was using a "charity" as a front for his Wife and Mom to bank half a million for themselves. Now people listened with both ears heard him lie and deny he has been found guilty of two ethics violations but so what it's no consequence no loss of power it was just a semblance of justice because our RCMP won't investigate him and the courts won't prosecute him so it becomes less about what is true or not and just about what they are allowed to get away with. The AG he bullied is a Liberal like he is too so it was not even about red vs blue.
Yes , there are two sides to a coin , there are two sides to a story * as is a coin there is also the EDGE !

*Fun little story* My sister in law moved to Arizona, her friends had all left after helping her move. All she had was non-perishable food and grabbed a can of soup but didn't have a can opener. So she went next door and asked her next door neighbor if she could borrow his. "Of course sweetheart, come on in" they had a 5 minute chat he gave her the can opener and she left. Went back to return it, and he said " you need anything sweetie, have some money as a welcome to the neighborhood. " she of course wouldn't take it but basically was almost forced to (in like a friendly way). A week later tons of cops came to his house and arrested him. It was Sammy The Bull Gravano!!! He was in the witness protection program and was dealing drugs or something like that. Crazy story lol I probably didn't do it justice lol.

Heya Steve, real life. As a very, very small member of the Concrete Club in Australia and the Pacific , I appreciate Sammy's simple but entirely accurate lesson . Ah, the '80's when big was good !!
What makes me feel a bit sad is that is seems like Paul Castellano really liked and saw something in Sammy, almost like he was mentoring/grooming him for higher things. In hindsight Sammy was better with Paul than he was with John and it’s sad he took such an important role in his assassination.
Very true; however, Paul Castellano made a series of bad decisions that led to his downfall, such as the high demands he made of his men in terms of tribute (and keep in mind Castellano was already a very wealthy man) sleeping with his housekeeper under the same roof as his wife, and perhaps the final straw, was when he decided to appoint his bodyguard Tommy Bilotti as underboss over other more qualified members of the family. All these things together did Big Paul in, unfortunately.
Paul was out of touch with his base, was exceedingly greedy and tremendously stingy. He lived in what was called the White House (of how conspicuous it was). Gotti was blamed for being too flamboyant but Paul was no better. The deterioration of Cosa Nostra began with Paul Castellano and ended with Gotti. The patriarch Carlo Gambino was one of the last true Cosa Nostra. There isn’t a single recording of him anywhere flapping away risky information like Gotti and Quack Quack Ruggiero

Sammy, you are a natural at story telling videos. Looking forward to much more of this. By the way, I really like the background setting in your videos. EZ Chair, the neon bull, brick walls, etc. It's a rustic/classic look, perfect for your kind of storytelling.
Most of all history is like what Sammy just explained, there's the real story and then there's the one that gets told ...
I know it’s crazy isn’t it!!
History and his story
You just gotta prove it.
History is written by the victors, that's the way it's always been.

As a young guy who was only recently made, you showed amazing foresight in realizing that the "concrete club" would be a long-term disaster, and it must have taken a lot of courage to tell Big Paul exactly that. It seems your boss already knew it was too big a scam, and that too many people would be onto it. Big Paul showed good acumen in taking you out and putting in someone else who would probably be dead by the time the heat came down, while at the same time not being shut out and reaping the benefits. What was going through your mind as you sat there and listened to these powerful bosses put forth such a risky proposal?
@Michael Jurek I was referring to Sammy as the recently-made guy, not me. SMH.
@Michael Jurek yeah hes right dude sentence stucture...but if he was or was not made...how the hell would you know?
people can't read these days smh but yea he had serious balls being a new guy and calling it out but that's how you rise in anything in life. gotta have balls and take risks in a smart way
@Michael Jurek from what I've gathered about made guys these days I wouldn't be surprised
Just seeing that you posted another story made me smile 😊😁. I knows I'm gonna love it before it even starts.
@Salvatore Sammy The Bull Gravano.
This is some very good information and much respect to you . I remember all the Mob Stories and events via the news and the Jerri Capeci Mob stories reading the NY Daily News living in Red Hook Brooklyn in the 1970's thru 2002. What I admire about you is you seem like a straight up ,no nonsense type of guy that is about business...
My Great Aunt Maria was dating a man that was “executed” on Main St in Bridgeport, CT while using a pay phone in the 80’s. It wasn’t till years later we learned he was part of THE “family” & as naive newlyweds who unknowingly interacted with them daily, my husband & me were investigated by FBI - Also, I have to say though that when I was young (18-19) & single & modestly speaking was pretty good looking, I would sometimes put my ignorant self at risk by going to clubs alone till early a.m. after working as barmaid in what was. I know now, a “Family” Bar/Restaurant. I NEVER had any problems, and when sent me a drink at the bar, they ended up not even speaking with me & if one tried the bouncer, worker or bartender would suddenly appear & brush him off 🤷🏼♀️ Found out years later that people in my family had THE Family watching over me! Bridgeport in those days truly was a hub/meeting place for “the family” & a person in my family I learned was “connected”- was always amazed that they knew where I went even if I tried to hide it! Probably saved me from some real creeps!
I have a feeling that your Mother 👩 💕 or another Feminine figure in your family was connected.
Sounds like a mob fairy tale to me. Maybe it's true but I doubt it.

Sammy, the trade Unions ran better when the Italian mafia was involved.
That was when unions were politically popular, now they make the unions seem sort of like socialism
They’re still involved with the unions
