Eric, I am a Philadelphia suburbanite. I am so often blown away by the nuances you MUST attend to be a successful dairyman/farmer. I had no idea what you must attend to ( from grubs to silos to cost of what seems to me like every tidbit of what you touch every day, etc., etc., etc. ) to keep your head above your expenses and labor. Seems to me that I would have to be on fire to move and think fast enough to do all you do. You (and your dad )are awesome. So good to know people like you are caring for the soil and grass and critters we depend on for our existence. God bless people of the earth.

When I read the Title to your video Eric I was amazed. I was not aware of slugs being a problem out in the country fields. I of course was thinking of the ones I always see in my garden and around my lawn especially after it rains! So, you could imagine my surprise when you showed us a slug up close and how small it was considered to the ones I have in my front and backyards! But then you mentioned the number of slugs in your fields and that explained the damage they can cause along with the groundhogs added. Besides enjoying just hanging out with you all, I learn a ton and that really helps connect the dots for this knucklehead! Appreciate your time in making these videos too Eric! Hoping the slug bait works well. Amazing how much damage the slugs have done. The investment in the bait might pay for itself by saving the plants. hopefully the bodies of the slugs will add some fertility to the soil.
