Cool video!!! That is a very busy place on the transit system. As for me, I was actually down the shore that day. I rode the NJCL to Point pleasant beach and spent the day there with a friend. Good stuff as always!!!!!
Glad you made it out to Denville. It really is a great railfanning spot! I know the weekends are quiet but there is no shortage of action on the weekdays. And in this case a Geep fest.
Next time you're out this way on the Morris Essex line, head one stop further west to the Dover yard. Lots of good spots for videoing NJT trains entering and exiting the yard.
Nice video as always Tim! Seeing this line makes me incredibly excited for the return of service over the reactivated Lackawanna Cutoff! Viewers of both your channel and Chuck Walsh's channel are going to be clammering for more videos of this area! So much Lackawanna History!! I am also looking forward to your videos headed to Andover in 2027!
6:26 one cool thing about the ALP45DP's (at least I like it, as someone who prefers my trains electric but rides a diesel line every day) is that even in diesel mode you can really hear the traction motors doing their thing under acceleration. I know he's not in diesel mode here, but the sound is still not all that different, just missing the background roar.
CNJ heritage unit that's my other favorites as well because that was my dads favorites actually he loves The CNJ heritage units my favorites too and i love the arrow III as well screw the silverliner 4s not a good horn show at all not an alert horn the arrow III are better with the horns and they alert the passengers that are close to the tracks and I rode one time on the arrow III to New York Penn Station and smooth they are as a passenger which you know already. Question: Aren't there new emissions regulations for diesel locomotives? I kinda figured the old NJT diesels would need to be phased out but I guess not.......

That guy operating Train 1001 in the 4217 looks very familiar...I can't put my finger on it...oh it's me! 😂 I'm famous! Lol
I’ve made many employees famous 😀😀. I created the French Onion Soup Engineer
Very cool I used to work for Njt
28:56 fabulous framing (AND a great horn)! Thanks Tim!
Another nice proper dose of NJT! Well done Tim!

Tim, I sure as hell miss the Lackawanna Electrics running on Morristown line, OMG!!!
❤
You could not make enough NJT videos for me. I love the horns. The Westinghouse horn would be an improvement for LIRR C3 and MU cars. Top work.
the geeps are VERY clean running!!

They accelerate faster in E mode it seems.
@@3985uprrI think they're rated for something like double the horsepower in E mode, so that would make sense!
28:47 snappers are *nothing* to mess with.!!!!!! they take no prisoners.
Will you be attending the Sept 30th 40th anniversary trip?
