Grégor Alécian Well as you asked so nicely it would be rude not to. I’m working on sohei at the moment and I’ll be doing more bat reps once COVID has calmed down. Thanks for watching and stay safe.
You should check out steel fist samurai/ashigaru. best in the bis. a little more expensive than perry, but cheaper than foot sore. absolutely lovely models. The warlord ones are great for the price, i just prefer quality > quantity
@@smallworldgames they're currently mostly out of stock due to covid, but they're having new sculpts sent to the casting company as we speak. Apparently they're Sohei or at least that's around what they said it was to me when I gave some suggestions with my last order. Their sashimono are fairly expensive... I paid like £58 for all of the ones I have. But you probably could chest and use perry's resin ones since they're £7.50 for 24 compared to £3-4 for 4 with steels. I just love the height on the large sashimono from steel fist. I expect they'll have more stock once the casting company can properly start casting again. I think price wise they're actually amazing. Considering GW charge £15-25 for some individual small models these really do shine. I've got a starter samurai set from warlord too, but that's more for Pre practice and to bolster an army.
@@hionmaidenzzz9209 Yeah I noticed. I’ll be sure to keep an eye out. Well that just GW eh? What we’ve come to expect! I think parry are all round very good and the price is right!
@@smallworldgames GW are great for battleforces and offer good deals, it's just the individuals that blow. It's a shame the battleforces don't contain some named characters. It's one thing that keeps me away from most GW armies. Their pricing is valid though, someone's only going to need 1 model of that kind. So their cost to manufacture the process is very high so they're making the money back, but the problem is more when they keep selling it for that price well after they've got the money back. Don't even get me started on Finecast too. Or them halving models per box and keeping the price the same. I'm pointing at you cadians👀 just sneaky tbh. One word of advice, steelfist are very large compared to Perry. They're slightly taller than footsore too. But look at the samurai charging pack. Look at the no-dachi one is wielding. The scale and shape is spot on. Perry have gone down the route of making the weapons thicker so they don't snap and they just look awful to me :(
are these the official minis from the test of honor website? They seem more detailed than the ones on the site, especially the weapon blades which seem thinner (the ones on their website seem too chunky) if these aren't the ones from their site can you provide a link to find them?
Good morning and a happy new year to you. These were the official figures before Test of Honour moved from Warlord to Grey For Now Games. They are still available from Warlord Games. These are also multi part plastic sprus as oppose to the official minis which are metal. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
