@@ozhalljr It already has. I bought it to have an easy way to get iPhone synths into Eurorack or recording. Makes for a small rig with endless sound possibilities (Moog synths, ARP 2600, Korg synths, all cost a few dollars). Any type of integration would make for some great videos if the spirit moves you.
Hi OZ, I saw that this was available and was curious about it. Great explanation and demo. I am using a Behringer 2 in out box right now so will probably not get one. I also noticed you have an Abacus in your rack. I have one also and it is a really interesting module. Does a lot of things. Have you tried the "bouncing ball" patch yet? Cheers
Tony, If you already have an audio interface, you probably don't need one. One of the things I like is the headphone output. If I have this in my rack, I can hear what's going on, even if I have nothing more than headphones. The 9U Doepfer rack that you see in the video is my "effects and misc." rack that I can pair with any other synth, modular or not. With the CU1A, I can also use these effects as outboard gear for my DAW. I can also play back any source material to be manipulated by the effects and other synth modules. I have not played with the Abacus much. I'll have to chase down the bouncing ball patch. That sounds like a lot of fun. Cheers!
@@ozhalljr Hey, that sounds like a terrific setup OZ, I could definatly use another patch point for effects and the headphone out is really handy. I adapted the "bouncing ball" from Maths so you may find it by searching Maths patches. Thanks for all the cool info.
Thanks for posting this helpful video.
You're welcome. I hope it saves you some head scratching and time.

Great. Does the iPhone recognize the CU1A as an audio output device?

@@moogfoogerI’m hoping to get an “examples “ video out soon for the CU1A.
