Naval Station Mayport is the home of the US Navy’s 4th fleet, and boasts the 3rd largest fleet concentration in the U.S. The 4th fleet is responsible for the Caribbean Sea, and the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans around Central and South America. NS Mayport is critical component of our national defense and contributes to the $14.3 billion-dollar economic impact the military has on the NE Florida. The statewide economic impact of Florida’s military installations totals $96.6 billion dollars!
