I’ve had people fake to hit me, especially rapidly gliding hands in a jerk fashion over their steer wheels while I was walking or driving to invoke fear for attention & negatively responsive reaction. I’ve had people swerve at me, try to hit me on foot where I was conscious with fleeing strategy & utilized immovable structures defiant of the vehicle’s lethality. I even had a drunk man in a chevy pickup stop 1ft from my upright body as I was on a curb protected walk path in order to show off for his girlfriend. I circled around the vehicle to try pull him out the driver’s side as he jockied it once he figured out I didn’t think he was funny. I’ve had both men & women try to assault me with this deadly weapon & I have no clue who these people are or where they come from.? It was an absolute privilege being able to watch his career live in my lifetime. I absolutely loved Whitaker as a kid. I was so sad to hear what had happened to this phenom of a man ✝️🕊️.
I understand it was an accident.? But in my lifetime I’ve seen far too many people think that they’re something they’re not like dastardly old western cowfolk or top gun space invaders behind the wheel of a vehicle. I’ve had people fake to hit me, especially rapidly gliding hands in a jerk fashion over their steer wheels while I was walking or driving to invoke fear for attention & negatively responsive reaction. I’ve had people swerve at me, try to hit me on foot where I was conscious with fleeing strategy & utilized immovable structures defiant of the vehicle’s lethality. I even had a drunk man in a chevy pickup stop 1ft from my upright body as I was on a curb protected walk path in order to show off for his girlfriend. I circled around the vehicle to try pull him out the driver’s side as he jockied it once he figured out I didn’t think he was funny. I’ve had both men & women try to assault me with this deadly weapon & I have no clue who these people are or where they come from.? This is reality today; humans behind vehicles like wild triceratops’s. Except that vehicle has vulnerabilities, it’s a real good way to find a rock & glass in your face pulling stunts like that. Projectile speed vs vehicular speed. Drive appropriately in accordance with the law. That includes going 10mi under the limit in order to impose the belief systems of your will while hiding behind the mechanism’s safety structure. These people in my experience will never be of the capable cast forged out of respect & discipline; they’re people compensating for their lethargy & innate weaknesses. Enemies to honor amidst American society in most cases with exception to warring environments as in 3rd world scenarios. There will always be exceptions, especially with regard to defensive strategies.
