I would paint the stripes while keeping in memory that #Hero1 car got overspray over the stripes on front bumper, hood and on the side. It would be nice to see in from you, Tom ;p Good luck in building
Hi, I am curious to know which Proxxon tool you recommend. I have a Dremel and I need a buffer that is much slower and there are several models out there. Also, I am curious about which size inserts you use on your Tamiya Engraving Blade. Looks like they have .1mm, .2mm and .3mm. Really enjoy your videos! Thanks, Mac

Have you ever used CA glue to fill in holes extra on a car? I use Smith industries pink label CA glue. I let it dry for 24 hours and sand it smooth. I am not sure how it woul work on the hood scoop.
Is this possible to get even and shiny surface with Zero Paints 2K Clear just after painting ? For years I have been using Gunze's acrylic clears which require quite a lot of polishing (sandpaper+Tamiya polishing compounds) to get decent shine. So I tried Zero's 2K clear and I'm always getting orange peel effect which then requires even more sanding and electric polishing to get decent effect (this lacquer is too hard for Tamiya polishing compounds). To my taste original recipe for Zero 2K lacquer (20:10:3) is incorrect - to my taste more thinner should be added and lacquer should be thinner...
@@TheScalemodelingChannel I see. I've been thinking about only using CA for some time now, I hardly use thin cement glues besides the car body parts. People say CA is not good and that parts fall off etc, but all the stuff I used it on is still fine.

Tamiya cement is for plastic to plastic glueing. + they dry way to slow for my taste

the stripes fade to light blue on the real car but the decals are not like this theyre just solid dark blue
