Your comment "It's so beautiful" is 100% right. Best seats on the train are on the upper deck, facing the direction of travel (the seats are easily adjustable), and sitting on the left hand side of the train in each direction of travel.. On the journey to Katoomba, sitting on the left starts by showing Glenbrook Gorge to full advantage, just beside you. As you travel further west, it will give you views across the southern ridges of the mountains to the far distance. On the return journey, you look across the ridges bordering the Grose Valley, including Mt Hay.
Some more information could help a lot like sydney to Mountain, bus fare , train tkt cost, time taken when to start from Sydney etc etc... But overall good
I'd not catch a bus from Sydney. The train, from Sydney's Central station is a much more comfortable way of travel than a bus trip. Trains run hourly through the day and you can easily look up train timetables and train fares. The journey time is about 90 minutes. As I'm now over 70, I get a discounted fare. Just get the bus from Katoomba station to Echo Point - it's not far to walk if you're used to it.
BM-train journey certainly is a wonderfully joyous occasion. Furthermore, train journeys fill individuals with a feeling of intense excitement. We would suggest to have amazing journey experience with parents .The seats are comfortable and reversible you can enjoy board games or picnic along 💐😊
Not sure why you were at Strathfield station catching a suburban train to Blacktown, and only then catching the Intercity train to the Blue Mountains. The Intercity train stops at Strathfield, so it would have been easier to catch it there. Between Strathfield and Blacktown it only stops at Parramatta. The Intercity Blue Mountains train is not a "special express". There are 17 stations in the Blue Mountains and most of the trains stop at each one. There are only a few peak hour trains that only stop at 5 stations between Katoomba and Emu Plains. Glad you had a great day, but I noticed you only went to Echo Point and Scenic World. 99.9% of visitors to the Blue Mountains go only to those two places and miss 99.9% of the Blue Mountains. Us locals like that as it leaves the best of the Blue Mountains untouched. Scenic World loves to promote itself as having the world's steepest railway but that is not correct. The 'train' doesn't go anywhere, except up and down. And its the only place in the Blue Mountains where you have to pay money to walk on a bush track. The tracks in that other 99.9% of the Blue Mountains are all free and way more scenic as they include waterfalls. Next time you visit try to stay overnight to do some of these scenic walks, eg Valley of the Waters.
Hello sis... thank you for sharing the video😊❤
Hi guys -- have added a sub your way. We were out in the Blue Mountains a couple months back and went to the Dinosaur exhibition. Well worth the trip
