One of the most common and cool emotive occurrences I read here gained from the chillwave/synthwave mixes is a feeling, yearning and nostalgia over memories you never actually had. Its a surreally good emotion that feels very personal and exclusive to you upon a certain track that just clicks with you that way. It reminds you of somewhere in your mind/dreams. It makes you imagine and further the emotion by letting the track take you to these places in your mind, be it real memory or a vibe for something like it.
currently i live in a one window 5g saturated stack-n-pack micro apartment on the 14th floor of tower block 9 - in a dystopian mass surveillance technological control grid megalopolis hell hole. it offers fluoridated tap water, fluorescent lighting and free msm (propaganda) news basic cable tv. sadly there are only two restaurants on ground level, mcdonalds and taco bell, of which im a wage slave at. today i reconnected my internet and now loop these synthwave sounds and dream of a better life. today they're chemtrailing the skies again - *im doomed*

It's in Katakana, which is used to spell foreign words, so reading Katakana it should sound like something familiar, like kamera (camera) or amerika (America). So I'm looking at this sign, scratching my head, wondering what "shiyotsupu" is supposed to be, and it's not showing up on a google search. Did the artist who made the background just throw together some random katakana gibberish thinking that it looks cool? People who don't read or speak Japanese tend to do that.
