Penalizing them $1000 for using "Des Moines" to get "Iowa"? Seriously?It might be two words, but it is the name of the capital city.
+SuperPat88 Any two word-clue is illegal. She could have gotten around it by saying "Corn" since Iowa is known for corn.

In fact, they will throw a couple of those words in as obvious traps. Louisiana is an L they would do for that exact reason (New Orleans, Baton Rouge)...
