the shoes thing happens here in the uk too ! there are ~some~ people that don’t take off their shoes in when they’re a guest but they’re rare and it’s not idk like ideal
is Slovenia like the rest of the Balkans where the country is shrinking in population with everyone leaving? I saw stuff about how countries like Bulgaria and Romania are emptying out and it made me sad
The country isn't shrinking, but the population is definitely growing very slowly. A lot of young people don't want to have children, and a lot of them move for a "better" job or life. In my opinion it isn't too sad, I am moving too! I love Slovenia, I am happy for those who have a good life here and decide to stay, but I am happy for those who have the opportunity to be happy somewhere else as well!😊
