16:00 Dunno if you know this by now, but soul sprouts decrease your temp by like 20 for 45 seconds if you EAT them (not stand next to the plant itself), and they're also the fuel source for the Soulspring Lamp from Cold Sweat. Soulspring Lamp has a 9x9 cooling area that reduces all nearby entities' temperature below the overheating threshold (doesn't stack). It does need a heart of the sea to craft the lamp though

Cold Sweat tip: insulation only slows down temperature changes AWAY from your base temp. That means taking off Cold Armor to get colder when you're overheating doesn't do anything. Those plants you dismissed are also key to crafting a Soulspring Lantern, a special piece of equipment that regulates temperature when in the Nether specifically.
