I guess I need to get out more cuz I have no idea what "conversation" that is taking place in locker rooms, living rooms, boardrooms, cafeteria, and around the coffee maker. Can someone fill me in on my ignorance?

It seems he stated exactly why they should have stood, instead of kneeling. Standing for our flag and anthem shows respect for a much larger, more important team than the NFL and any ethnic groups, cultures, religions, minorities, majorities, or any other "teams" that make up our nation. Standing together shows our American "team" and rest of the world that, no matter what internal disagreement or struggles occur within this country, we stand together as a nation. These guys have said they don't. To become a citizen in this country, you stand for the flag and pledge allegiance to the flag and the Republic for which is stands. You cannot dress this up, spin it or twist it and make it sound any different or better than it is. What they did was stupid and reckless, and it was done at the public expense of other Americans. Don't expect me to be supportive. It will never happen.

This coach has absolutely no excuse for the disrespectful actions of his team and don't bother trying to sugar coat it......it was disrespectful and disgusting!!! He dances around and around the question about the fans being pissed. Team unity to disrespect the anthem is most important and fans outrage is a none issue. Then to further insult us they stand for the Britain's anthem??? You can try and laugh it off if you want coach but NFL now stands for No Fans Left!
Harbaugh could of been against something his entire life and if not so good for his team he'd be against it the hypocrite.
This is even more of a reason for him to get shitcanned.

The big deal is they did it in England.....it is one thing to fight with your family at the kitchen table and entirely different when you go to the neighbor´s house and fight with your family at their table....I´m surprised you missed that.
