I have seen this a few times & it always amazes me. These brothers were extremely talented. It always gets me when they do the split jumps. You would think they would hurt themselves. Glad this film clip has been preserved for the younger generation to see.

Another amazing performance by the Nicholas Brothers is "Jumping Jive - Cab Calloway and the Nicholas Brothers" Definitely worth a look-see. In it, the brothers flawlessly do the split jumps going down stairs! You have to see it to belivee it!

These men were consummate entertainers; they inspired Sammy Davis Jr. and Gregory Heines and many others. Their timing and athleticism was always so smooth ang graceful it made very difficult moves seem effortless. With leg muscles as strong as theirs they could crush your skull like a walnut that's how they could do the things they did. And .you thought MJ could dance .

The Nicholas Brothers are incredible dancers. I was a huge fan of Fred Astaire. As a girl I loved his elegance. 😊 He admired the Nicholas Brothers! I think modern Hip Hop dancers can learn a lot from these guys. 😄

They really are amazing! And so fast, if you don’t concentrate you can miss some of those moves. How did they even remember such long routines? Absolutely brilliant 💚💚💚

They genuinely set the bar so high that idk anyone that can even come close with some of those moves. Yes, Fred Astaire, etc. in relation to the genre but some of those moves I've only seen them do!

if this was WWII, a lot of movies were set in South America, or had that music, as it took minds off the war.

Harold Nicholas, the younger of the Nicholas Brothers is in this movie.

I don't think it's their voices. Dubbed in Spanish. Lyricists are Mack Gordon and Al Dublin. Original songs are in English in the 1940 film. The brothers did sing (their voices) in the American release. Singing wasn't their strength, passable. Nothing could eclipse their dancing talents. They are among my favorites.

It's their voice, the youngest one Harold is singing. He knew 5 languages. So that's definitely them singing

Salut de France "Clovis, King of the francks","Louis lX, the crusader king" and "Joan of Arc", savior of kingdom of France" from thecajun cutthroat channel. With these three videos, you will see the greatness of the France. It's good Napoleon but before him, there was even bigger.

if you want to know how France imbued its culture and even its language into modern England, react to "French Kings of England" from thecajun cutthroat channel. And yes, the plantaganet was a French lineage. Alienor of Aquitaine and Henri 2 was French, but I guess you knew that

These guys were amazing but there is something sad behind this. At the time, a single Black performer could not do a solo because that might make them a star. These brothers were ideally suited to fill all the slots because they were obviously a duo.
