Today's my 37th birthday, I was feel a bit down but Thanks to your Nerdy Nostalgia for Childhood Theme Songs(Most like myself) I feel great day, Thank You
other intros you might enjoy: Bionic 6, TigerSharks, Visionaries, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, The Raccoons ( no seriously look up "The Raccoons" it was a Canadian Cartoon that started off as a Christmas Special and went on to become a show in Canada that had great music and ran for several seasons. It also used Run With Us - Lisa Lougheed as the ending credits song)
I was just about to bring up The Racoons. For such a fairly innocuous cartoon, using that as the end music was always a little surprising. Oh, and I'm fairly sure Sneer's first name was Cyril. Others (sine I am an 80's Child), Spartacus and the Sun Beneath the Sea (I prefer the first opening, by Les Ministars, but the second by Menudo is OK I guess). Esteban and the Mysterious Cities of Gold, Danger Mouse (again, first version) The Adventures of Belle and Sebastian (technically just music, since it had no words, but still a fun opening.)
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors theme song is one of the most awesome, catchiest, underrated one from the 80's. Look it up if you've never heard of the show because the opening literally rocks.
Even though I was born in 2002 I was able to watch it thanks to RUclips and the theme song is such a bop but I did the see trailer of it on like dic or cookie jar produced shows dvds of shows like Dino squad so I knew it existed
Bucky O'Hare is a show I know more by the theme song than the actual show. Def one of the best. Would love if Star Fox eventually took an 80s tint to its style in a similar form to that show.

Mummy's Alive is something I crack out every now and again. Not an 80's cartoon, but very few people even know what that show was. Another really obscure one with a fun theme, Captain Simian and The Space Monkeys
You're playing the soundtrack of my childhood, Andre. You are pure joy incarnate. This may be a job for you, but videos like this just make me wanna hang out and jam with you. Happiest RUclipsr I know, and I'm here for it.
This was fun! I remember that Carmen Sand Diego cartoon theme vividly and how amazingly over-the-top they went with it. If you do another one of these, I recommend Denver the Last Dinosaur. It's a show I've never even seen, but the theme lives in my head like it was born there.
Dude, you have hit me square in the face with nostalgia and I love it. My personal favourite that until recently I hadn’t heard since I was little and watching it on Saturday mornings was Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures. Even though it has to be like 20+ years since I last heard it, I remembered every single word. Just reminded me when you mentioned Wyld Stallyns. Awesome video by the way and I hope you’re well!
Man, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice was freaking good, I too forgotten this awesome cartoon series. That intro hit my nostalgia hard Andre! Also I love Heatcliff intro so shout-out
So happy King Arthur and the Knights of Justice was on this list. That theme is amazing. A few other suggestions of fantastic cartoon theme songs: Conan the Adventurer, The Skeleton Warriors, and Dragon Flys (technically with this one its the end credits theme, but its still awesome)
Personally, my favorite cartoon theme songs are The Batman, Batman Beyond, Spectacular Spider-Man Ninjago, Gravity Falls, and all the TMNT theme songs. I'm telling you, when I hear Jump Up, Kick Back, Whip Around and Spin, I can't help but sing along. When that Batman Beyond theme kicks in, I'm in a full on dance
Another Epic theme from 90'scartoon was Eek! The Cat, along The Terrible Thunderlizards. And things like X-Men theme and Beast Wars opening are iconic.
I've always been partial to the "Bonkers" theme song. (Loved seeing his cameo in the recent DuckTales!) And speaking of Disney, have you heard the "Jungle Cubs" rendition of "Bare Necessities"? And the "P., B., and J. Otter" theme song is way better than it had any right to be. Other great openings I remember: I don't think enough people talk about the M.I.B. cartoon series, which had an amazing one, and that sax solo on "Dog City" slaps. And if you're a country fan, there's the "Cowboys of Moo Mesa"
Sonic underground was the sonic show I watched, It’s 2023 and their mother still hasn’t been found. Am surprised that the back to the future animated show wasn’t on this list.
You singing along and getting so excited was truly the best part of this video. XD I love it! Also love me some 80’s-90’s cartoons and songs so dang much!
Fun fact Andre: Haim Saban and Shuki Levy (THE POWER RANGERS TEAM) composed the intro music for Beverly Hills Teens and MASK; along Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Inspector Gadget, Heathcliff, The Littles, OG He-Man, OG She-Ra, Pole Position etc.
Dude the M.A.S.K., King Arthur, and Silverhawks themes were so underrated it's practically criminal. Those guitar solos, the basslines, the drums, and hell even the lyrics (simple as some might be) still hit just right in all the best ways.
I call out that Beverly Hills teen / black nerd intro similarity all the time 😂😂 Love these songs. Inspector Gadget and the Disney afternoon will always be top tier!
I knew you had to do Silverhawks and Mask. Bionic six was also one of my favorites as well. My sister was big on the Littles and punky Brewster. Also one that was great but was early 90’s was the intro to Kidd Video!
For me, it will always be the opening theme for The Mysterious Cities of Gold that's an epic banger. Also, there was The World of David the Gnome and Fraggle Rock if that counts.
YES. SONIC UNDERGROUND and Silver Hawks. I miss those shows. I'm so glad to see those in this video! Love your passion for them keep up the great work.
"Conan, the mightiest warrior ever / His quest: to induce the spell of living stone cast upon his family / By driving the evil serpent men back into another dimension / And vanquishing their leader, the cruel wizard Wrath-Amon".
It is so much fun watching you just have a blast (from the past) and sing along to cartoon theme songs. Not sure how this could be turned into a series, but I would absolutely watch it.
I remember watching King Arthur and the Knights and Justice along with Sonic Underground as a kid. Those were my jam. It has been too long. For me I think some of my favourite theme songs (from the 90's at least) are COPS, Mummies Alive and Cybersix. I've probably hummed a bit of those songs so many times as a kid.
For some reason one song that's always stuck with me is the "Monster By Mistake" theme song (Canadian show that was one of the first TV shows to be CG animated). Technically a 90's one even though the show lasted into the 2000s! It's not sung especially well but it always grabbed me and I especially love the saxophone solo.
Yeah, the 80's and early 90's had some of the best intro songs for cartoon shows. I actually remember quite a lot of these shows growing up. Really takes me back. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I'd love to see another one of these! If you have any interest in expanding your range into the 2000's, the theme from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Fight As One, is one of my favorite songs I've ever heard. Yet, I don't hear it talked about in the same breath as so many of the classics
For some reason, the theme songs from All Grown Up (the Rugrats spin-off), Brandy & Mr. Whiskers (starring the current voice of Harley Quinn), American Dragon Jake Long, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Cyberchase and Dragon Tales come to mind when I think about forgotten cartoon themes.
That metallic bird cry in SilverHawks has even been used in Yu-Gi-Oh. A deep distorted version in 5Ds when that giant hummingbird was summoned, but especially in ARC-V when the Raid Raptors showed up. What a surprise it was hearing a catchy theme song and suddenly I hear that familiar noise.
I loved the Carmen Sandiego show. One that I think that's forgotten is the shirley walker version of BTAS, when they renamed it Adventures of Batman & Robin. I think the DVDs had the option to change it to that...but as far as I know, HBO has it all set to the OG BTAS theme. They don't even have TNA of B&S as a option.
I seem to remember an educational(ish?) cartoon called Cro that had a really good theme. The show was basically this thawed out mammoth, that of course could talk, telling these kids stories about a young, smarter-than-the-average hominid friend he had named Cro.

Seeing this video reminded me of the time you did a panel at SGC 2014! My younger brother and I had a blast singing cartoon theme songs with the you and the fans. Such a great memory!!!
Mask and both seasons of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures had unforgivably catchy theme songs. I’ve been watching through Mask, and every time that little synth motif of the theme starts as the team spends half the episode assembling, I get goosebumps.
One of my favorite videos of yours! It's crazy how many of these cartoons I remember but somehow didn't remember the songs. Thank you for introducing them to me. Also, one of my favorites of the era was Dinosaucers!

YES!!!!! Thankyou Nerd for including Sonic Underground. Even though it is like the forgotten Sonic series I seriously loved this show so much. With Manic still being one of my favourite characters in the whole Sonic franchise.
Love the video. I'd like to suggest these shows theme songs as well. I think they're pretty good: - Disney's Raw Toonage - Earthworm Jim - Sam & Max: Freelance Police - Men in Black: the series
No joke this has to be my most watched video from u Andre. Every time I'm watching it sounds like your voice matches perfectly with the theme songs. If another sponsor comes to u please oh please make another one of these.
Loved this video! It's just so full of joy and good vibes. Will definitely rewatch! I gotta say, my favorite cartoon theme song is Liberty's Kids. Super poppy and comes with an obligatory 2000's rap section, but the harmonies are just inspiring~
Oh my gosh, just watching these cartoon theme songs brought back a lot of memories to me, especially the Sonic Underground Theme! I couldn't stop smiling the moment I heard that theme song started to play. TwT
Glad to see you back Andre, and we definitely need a part 2. 2 suggestions for the next Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and the funkiest cartoon theme ever STREET FROGS !!!
Oh man... a lot of these take me BAAAAAACK! Please do more of these - your energetic singing & dances make me smile while watching... and singing along!
This is cool. I've heard of many of these. Carmen Sandiego was a top favorite. Do you remember Heathcliff? That was pretty good too! I hope you can make a video about tokusatsu shows that were adapted for American TV outside of Power Rangers. 👀
I think I got a list of my own 1. Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors 2. Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs 3. Galaxy Rangers (also has am extended version with video like M.A.S.K.) 4. Cities of Gold 5. Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea also the pirate theme from the show. 6. Inhumaniods 7. Transformers season 2 theme (nobody likes that one but me) 8. Pole Position 9. Dinosaucers (the absolute baddest 30 seconds in children's media. Fite me.) 10. Denver the last Dinosaur 11. Gummi Bears 12. Darkwing Duck (not forgotten but notable because both the beginning and end were a bop) 13. The New Adventures of Johnny Quest. 14. Count Duckula/Danger Mouse/Bananaman There's so many but I'll just pinch it here as it's getting a bit too well known I think. Or I havta go too obscure. One or the other.
Glad to see the M.A.S.K intro is finally getting some love it definitely deserves ^^. One intro that came to mind to me was, even if much rather never known than forgotten in the US, the German version for the old Mega Man cartoon. And, depending on whether that counts as a cartoon or if you exclude anime, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. And another weird case where I can't decide who exaggerated more I'd like to point out both the US and Geman version for Once upon a time... Man (Es war einmal der Mensch). I'd love to see more of this kind of videos. Maybe as I did above comparing some international intro versions to the originals where the foreign cover just did it better. Or maybe not just forogotten intros but some forgotten shows where nobody really knows why they didn't stick around. Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys would come to mind for me or, even if for the core concept alone, Dino Riders. In any case, once again, awesome video and I hope to see more of you in the future!
Thank you Andre. That Flintstones breakdown has been stuck in my head for years and I could never figure out where it was from because I can only remember some of the lyrics. I finally feel free of this curse.
I actually binged "M.A.S.K." last year, well the first series at least (season 2 was practically a different show). That cartoon rocks! And so does its theme song! Awesome video man.
I jam out to the Sonic Underground Opening every other week, more so than the Sonic SATAM Opening I mean It really lives rent free in my head in terms of theme songs from the 90's

I appreciate it more the more I hear it.
Seeing this video reminded me of the time you did a panel at SGC 2014! My younger brother and I had a blast singing cartoon theme songs with the you and the fans. Such a great memory!!!
Always thought Pole Position had good intro
"Which button do I press?" "Press them all!" Hahaha! I still think about that sometimes when I don't know what to do at work.
This filled me with joy. I really needed that. Thanks, Andre!
Mask and both seasons of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures had unforgivably catchy theme songs.
I’ve been watching through Mask, and every time that little synth motif of the theme starts as the team spends half the episode assembling,
I get goosebumps.
Nothing better than someone else who embraces 80s/90s cartoon theme songs as much (if not more) than myself! Amazing vid! Please make another!
I’ve been missing your content Andre! I’m so glad you’re back and better than ever 🫶🏽 this video made my day! KEEP BEING GREAT
You are a lot of fun to watch! Thanks for sharing your theme song nostalgia with us
One of my favorite videos of yours! It's crazy how many of these cartoons I remember but somehow didn't remember the songs. Thank you for introducing them to me. Also, one of my favorites of the era was Dinosaucers!
Oh man I'm so glad I clicked on this video. I remember each and every one of these songs and cartoons. I thought I was the only one. Thank you for this awesome video! My inner child thanks you as well!
This is my first time watching one of your videos and man oh man, your energy for these songs is spot on. Thanks for showing love to Gravedale High. No one ever remembers that show.
YES!!!!! Thankyou Nerd for including Sonic Underground. Even though it is like the forgotten Sonic series I seriously loved this show so much. With Manic still being one of my favourite characters in the whole Sonic franchise.
Love the video. I'd like to suggest these shows theme songs as well. I think they're pretty good:
- Disney's Raw Toonage
- Earthworm Jim
- Sam & Max: Freelance Police
- Men in Black: the series
Also the end theme to MIB:The Series had the sample from Forget me Nots a song that Will Smith sampled in the song Men In Black
Welcome back, Andre! Good to see you again.
No joke this has to be my most watched video from u Andre. Every time I'm watching it sounds like your voice matches perfectly with the theme songs. If another sponsor comes to u please oh please make another one of these.
Thank you so much for bringing the 3 minutes version of the MASK theme!
Please make this a regular series! This is just pure, nostalgic joy in video form.
Dzamm! You hit me in the dusty nostalgia with that one. Vinyl classics each and every one of them. Made a subscriber outta this Gen Xer
This is so wholesome and much needed in these weird sad times of early 2023. Thanks Andre.
I always love you and your energy, Andre.💗
I am so glad I am not the only one that fully geeks out like this to these songs!
TwT
Love your selections!!! One of my favorites from the 80's "KIDD VIDEO"....WORD! That theme song is still FIRE!!!❤️
I love this vid! Always great seeing Andre in his element! Love the nostalgia vids!! 🤓👍🏾
Glad to see you back Andre, and we definitely need a part 2. 2 suggestions for the next Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and the funkiest cartoon theme ever STREET FROGS !!!
Bro, I freaking LOVE your excitement! You rock!
Some other ones that I liked are Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Galaxy High, Darkwing Duck and Chip and Dale
I was only familiar with a few of these but seeing your enthusiasm made me so happy.
Oh man... a lot of these take me BAAAAAACK!
Please do more of these - your energetic singing & dances make me smile while watching... and singing along!
Fantastic, Video! Glad you were finally able to make it! I do have to say The Raccoons had a great ending theme song “run with us!”
Danger Mouse, Darkwing Duck and Count Duckula had great theme songs. Also the girl from the Carmen Sandiego cartoon looks like one of the Planeteers.
This is cool. I've heard of many of these. Carmen Sandiego was a top favorite.
Do you remember Heathcliff? That was pretty good too!
I hope you can make a video about tokusatsu shows that were adapted for American TV outside of Power Rangers. 👀
I think I got a list of my own
1. Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
2. Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs
3. Galaxy Rangers (also has am extended version with video like M.A.S.K.)
4. Cities of Gold
5. Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea also the pirate theme from the show.
6. Inhumaniods
7. Transformers season 2 theme (nobody likes that one but me)
8. Pole Position
9. Dinosaucers (the absolute baddest 30 seconds in children's media. Fite me.)
10. Denver the last Dinosaur
11. Gummi Bears
12. Darkwing Duck (not forgotten but notable because both the beginning and end were a bop)
13. The New Adventures of Johnny Quest.
14. Count Duckula/Danger Mouse/Bananaman
There's so many but I'll just pinch it here as it's getting a bit too well known I think.
Yes, just seeing you dance is so awesome!!!! Definitely do this again
I jam out to the Sonic Underground Opening every other week, more so than the Sonic SATAM Opening I mean It really lives rent free in my head in terms of theme songs from the 90's
Sonic Underground is getting a reboot...by me! =D
Love your content Andre! Been following you for couple years now, seems like you slow down on your contents lately but I still enjoy them!!! 👊🏽🙏🏽
