No cap. I just had a 12 V6 5th gen Camaro. I had it for 3 year I beat the shit out of that car I took converter off straight piped took everything else off by the time the deer jumped in front of me to total it out. I was already sick of the noise. It looked just like this car.
Jonathan T, your correct.. & I apologize. Not every v6 is bad, if they had its own line of cars it's much easier to respect then a v6 with an older brother v8 offered in the same platform. Overall it is a nice car.
I agree that it's kinda pointless to offer both a V6 and a V8 model because everybody loves the V8 more. But they made the V6 for people like me who are first time drivers and can't spend a lot of money yet lol. But I will agree that if I see a 50 year old man driving a V6, he has no room to show off lol.
+Jonathan T there is nothing wrong with the v6 in my opninion as 60% sold are v6 30k even when your older is hard to swallow we all love the v8 but your v6 has 323 hp no muscle car 13 years ago had that power stock

You sound like a front wheel drive guy who's never driven a rear wheel drive car. Even the base model 5th gen camaro can out handle most cars on the road, RWD cars have better balance than FWD which makes them ideal for performance. From a stop into a corner a front wheel drive car can do it quickly, but if you try to take a turn from a stop in a RWD car you'll throw off the balance fishtail. A RWD car can however out handle FWD in turns while still in motion, again ideal for track racing and better performance.
Best way I had it and sounded similar to this is 2.5 and 3” outlet 2.5 for middle so it done drone like crazy and 3” at the rear axle lathe way to back end on my impala 2016 10th gen

I rolled with straight pipes for like a week before having resonated pipes installed.... you easily set off car alarms in a v6. It's ridiculously loud...
