I love this piece. It's always made me think of a show I grew up watching that used the Isao Tomita interpretation of this piece as its theme, giving it a classical yet futuristic flair. There was a local astronomy program in the evenings on our local public television station in the 70s and 80s, whenever I hear this I think of all the stuff I learned from Jack Horkheimer.
