A fine tribute it is! The magic of Led is super. “Live for Hula” is good. Mahalo for the many hours you and Lynn work to produce these professional videos.
Aloha Fran, I don't know about "life being better than you deserve" The magic you 2 create has certainly enriched many peoples lives. Lynn just keeps better and better w/the video. Love this song. Mahalo. I should add: beautiful yard, Led
Yes indeed, big compliments to Led for his landscaping. We're already planning our next video (next year, I'm afraid) to highlight the `ilima he has added. Fran
Hi Fran - another gem! You and Ledward just sound fantastic. Again, great photography by Lynn to compliment the music. Lovely seeing the palms sway in the breeze 👍👍
Gregg, thanks for visiting and commenting. I hope you'll check out some of the other clips of Ledward and his magic fingers. We have Led on the autoharp, Led on the tiple, Led on the `ukulele, and plenty of Led on guitar solo, duet, with his sister Lei and more. Fran
So cool to watch the video and listen to you guys playing together. I loved the shots of you driving around town with the video rolling. Gives us a sense of what it's like on a regular day. Mahalo
Thanks Ron, I'm so glad the video told you that story, it was just what I was hoping to accomplish. The simple act of driving around the windward side is full of beauty and drama. Fran
Ah, Jim, it would be nice but we haven't made the move. Various reasons conspire to keep us in California. I can't complain though since we spend a couple of months each year on O`ahu and get to host our Hawai`i friends when they visit California. Fran
Another great video Fran & Led , Lynn. That looks like a great Island cruzer. I live in Fort Bragg Ca. I have seen you both in Ferndale a couple years ago. I bought a ticket a wile back for the ferndale show coming up, then just found out Led is coming to Mendocino Ca in Oct. Hope your going to be with him at that show as well. Mahalo for all the great music.
Another beauty. Amazed at how steady the camera was and the pure sound quality given the windy conditions. I also enjoyed the driving around part though that road at 1:35 looked like it should have been a lot faster than the posted 35. ☹
Do you by any chance ride a transverse V-twin? Lynn is shooting a standard iPhone 13 and the stabilization is terrific. The omni pattern really does a lot to reduce wind noise and I've added Gutmann hairy windscreens as well. And very few people observe the speed limit on Mokapu Saddle Road (grin). Fran
@@franguidry Currently riding a BMW K75 which is an inline 3 cylinder flopped on it's side (think of half a Goldwing engine) and an old Ducati twin. Currently under reconstruction is an older Guzzi G5. Not to get pedantic on you but transverse/longitudinal engine refers to the orientation of the crankshaft and Guzzis are considered a longitudinal engine though the cylinder layout looks otherwise. I did have a Triumph Thruxton R but sold it as it was not comfortable for me and I didn't ride it much but it was the most fun bike I've ever owned. I don't know much about photography/videography though I have a 35mm Pentax with assorted lenses and accessories up in the attic I bought at the China Fleet Club over 50 years ago.
Yeah, you spotted the similarities. It's pretty common for Hawaiian songs to share changes as you probably know. "Holoholo Ka`a" is usually _really_ uptempo, we called this our slowed down version (grin). Fran
Slack key is actually one of the easier ways to get sweet music from the guitar. Visit Ozzie Kotani's website and Harry Koizumi's RUclips channel for help with learning slack key. Fran

Thank you Patrick, Lynn's flair for videography has certainly added to our clips.

Lovely music, lovely drive, lovely garden..what's not to love!! A great video as always! Led's chuckle at the end is great
Led is the best at everything, even chuckling (grin). Seriously, big fun when he's in the mix.
Fran
Fantastic
Thank you so much.

Led's backyard is a magical place, especially because Led is there!!
Fran
Classic Led runs. I can never get enough of how he plays the entire fretboard.
Gregg, thanks for visiting and commenting.

Keeps getting better and better, Fran. Thanks to you, Led and Lynn!
Thank you for visiting and commenting, Arthur. It means a lot to have folks spend a few moments with us.

Traveling music!
Oh yeah, we put more miles on the Hula Girl in Hawai`i than we ever did in Cali! More places to go, more people to see.
Fran
What a fun tune! Thanks for showing us around a bit. Looks like such a lovely breeze. Thanks for sharing.
It was fun creating this clip as well. I've been working on this idea for a while and it came our better than I had hoped.
Fran
Delightful as usual Fran and Led. Thanks for the tune! Mahalo!
Thanks for stopping by, glad you enjoyed it. It's been a project on my mind for quite a while.
Fran
Wonderful music 👍👍👍👍👍 Thank you
Thanks for visiting and for all your generous comments. I never have enough thumbs up in my life.

Just plain awesome 👌 👏 👍

I really love your collaborations with Led-the two of you seem as if of one mind when playing. Great that you’ve move to Hawai‘i. 🖖🤙

Yes indeed, we had such a great time in Mendocino.
Fran
Mahalo, just found this I love it, I’m on my lanai with my headphones on a just jamming
Jam on, Michael, glad you're enjoying it.
Fran
This song is comfortable harmony with nice holoholo viewing to Kailua and Kaneohe⁈♪
When we holoholo in Hawai`i it's usually along that same route from Kailua to Kane`ohe so I wanted to share the feeling. Glad you enjoyed it.

So cool. I'm still not very good at guitar, but I really want to learn to play slack key

I am subscribed even though it reads no subscription. 🙀
I'm wondering if there's a glitch in RUclips, I think some of my replies are getting lost. Thanks for your subscribe.
