If you want the world to be excited and reignite the curiosity, the passion, and the excitement regarding space... a camera and it's footage would have been the only payload worth it's weight.
Today's cameras weigh next to nothing and have a far superior image quality to what we had 50+ years ago. It was a terrible decision to not deliver that data to the public within an hour of touch down. The longer images and video take to be released to the public, the more skeptics we'll see. What s shame.

True, it's actually converted me to a skeptic, I genuinely no longer believe there was a moon landing. The fact that there's no footage kinda confirms it's BS. Video or it never happened.

Bro the real question is why do they think people wouldn't respond this way? Cameras should be essential for any kind of expensive space equipment we shoot up into oblivion. Get off your high horse and understand we have the right to ask questions and concerns. They have been lying to us about a lot of things, and the truth is out now. I think most people know its all fake. We have the right to not believe something because they have no real evidence. And with todays ai and cgi tech anything can be faked so easily now.

Annnnnd, it tipped over. It had lateral movement when it touched down. WTF? Well, that's disappointing. Why, above all else, with the geometry and center of mass, would they have this thing moving sideways at all and not coming straight down for its landing. What a shame. Coming straight down for landing would have been my absolute top priority in the algorithm. I wonder why. Maybe it was just some malfunction, if not, that's a huge overlook... That sucks.
