I enjoyed this so much today Ashley! I'll take German restaurants over American ones any day...good fresh food there and all of it so delicious! We traveled all over in Germany and Europe. We were there when there were no Euros so everything was very inexpensive for us. We lived on the economy because apartments were so reasonably priced. We never owned a car...ever. We rode the trains and busses everywhere...went on the trains all over Europe too. God bless Ronald Regan! The military was in high cotton in those days. The only problem is I gained weight because of the food...bread, chocolate, and wine oh my! My husband was the beer drinker and from the first moment to the last in Germany our lives were wonderful. I completely agree with everything you said and I loved all of the pictures and footage today! I wanted to stay there forever and cried a lot after our last tour! I love it as much as you do especially at Christmas time! 🎄
Love this video and can agree with all your favorite spots, and look forward to trying the German restaurants you mentioned!. And omg I love DM lol! My favorite grocery store is actually Lidl I used to go to Aldi and Kaufland but I found I liked the milk, meat and produce better at Lidl and I go to Rewe for drinks because my husband works by one. Would love a Nuremberg video or any European travel tip videos that you have accumulated. You explored a lot so you have a lot of knowledge! We just got back from a road trip we went to Vienna, Budapest, Zagreb and Graz it was super fun!
@@chloestadt I can absolutely do a Nuremberg video! I completely forgot about Lidl! We didn’t go often but it was probably because Aldi was much closer to us. I hope you enjoyed your road trip! That sounds like a lot of fun!
German food is so bland. if ur in a country and u have to recommend McDonalds thats a problem. the best German food is Turkish food. also all ur eating is Schnitzel... thats just poorly seasoned chicken or pork.
They have many items that are not in America. It is that way all over the world. I recommend it because I have a positive outlook on life and think it’s fun to try McDonalds in different countries. To each their own 👍🏼
