After you made the connections of the ribbons you should've carefully gone back over them just to make certain the connectors are perfectly aligned and properly seated. The ribbons can be a little tricky, especially for any who have little experience. A nice video. Thanks

Theres a really a big reason they use tape adhesive over the ribbon cables and that is a big reason screws are used to hold the battery in placed.
